We live just south of Flint in Coffee City & eat at Pop’s several times a month. The staff there is friendly and patient. Along with the fried chicken and catfish, there are several entrées you can choose from along with real vegetables.
It is a nice upgrade from the chain fast food offerings.

It was okay. Food was not seasoned at all. It's was luck warm. Banana pudding was mediocre. Items I tried... King Ranch Chicken, turnip greens, mashed potatoes, okra, coleslaw, and of course banana pudding. The best item was the coleslaw. They have other items I probably should have tried. Oh well!

Chicken was hot and crispy, without being overly greasy. Sides could be better. Mac and cheese was basically soup, green beans had good flavor but had to eat with a spoon, corn is loose and not on a cob, but still ok. Service was outstanding
