No doubt their food is good. I got a chopped brisket sandwich and I put my own cheese and barbecued sauce on it. it was really good and then I got my husband a sliced brisket plate and he really enjoyed that. as far as the atmosphere, I just went through the drive-thru but the drive-thru door is sadly wonky and the ladies inside. I guess we're just not having a very good day.

Vegetarian options: I don't think is a vegetarian. I would want to come here

Kid-friendliness: nope! The food, however, is kid friendly. I just don't think you'd want your child running around the building is all

Wheelchair accessibility: well I'm not real sure about this. I think it used to be an old dairy Queen. I don't think you can dine in and I don't think the late you take your wheelchair through the drive-thru so I'm going to say no

First time here, and we have eaten at a lot of bbq restaurants. But this place is outstanding we had the horse shoe and a sliced brisket sandwich and both were incredible, the sweet tea was perfect and those ribs were so tender they really did fall off the bone. The potato was big fluffy and fully loaded. The peach and apple cobblers were soooo good, We will definitely be back.

Sad to hear that Pastor Brown n his wife had opted out. What beautiful, Godly couple. I must admit, a lot of my pleasure came from knowing them. Especially, Mrs. Brown and her wonderful, 2nd to none, Ol School desserts. I personally, feel a loss. Good continue to be with them in their endeavors.

Amazing food. Service was great for a counter service restaurant. Several employees came by to ask if we needed anything even though it's not a full service restaurant. I got better service here than I have gotten at most restaurants lately that have a waiter.

I absolutely love finding places like this on my travels. I was absolutely blown away by the food here. First off, the okra was some of the best I've ever had. Perfect breading and flavor to match. The Brisket potato is SOOOOO good. Loaded up with all the best fixins and such a good size. Flavorful, juicy, Perfect temperature, and the BBQ sauce is so good too. If you are in the are, make this a stop for your Texas BBQ cravings.

The ribs are so delicious sometimes they do fall off the bone. I always get double potatoe salad. Certain ladies that work the window are not friendly. I’m from Louisiana and we put barbecue sauce on our potatoe salad, I would even pay extra but they look at you crazy when you ask or lie and say they will or just say they don’t. I do recommend them so far for the best ribs.

Parking: Park in the street, double-park, don't park, drive thru window, park in Rowlett and walk the rest of the way! Just get there and park your butt inside for some of the best BBQ you've ever had. Even the smoked bologna sandwich is to die for. Lived in Forest Hill for a while, then came home to New Mexico. Sure do miss Off the Bone!!

I recently got to try this place from local recommendations. While I noticed there were only a few staff members they were more then helpful, and was clear they care even if it means things moved a little slower. I learned that all the meats are smoked! So my ribs came out naked with sauce on the side. I got to fully enjoy the art they did to the meat! My ribs and chicken were so tender and packed with flavor. I also had a baked potato on the side that was nearly the size of my head. If you’re a potato person I highly recommend!

Overall this is a must try spot! For a quick lunch to bringing home food for the whole fam!
