Talk about unexpected! Passing through Fort Stockton and needing lunch, I wasn't sure if find anything good beyond fast food. Read the reviews and gave it a shot... Just to find they deserve a 6th star. Absolutely amazing Mexican food. Just wish they were closer to home so I could eat more.

Eric and his family give the place a homely feel. Highly recommend.

This small hole in the wall restaurant only has two tables with 4 chairs per table. No public restroom but they provide drive thru orders. They have packs of homemade tortillas for sale. I ordered a guiso burrito that was so delicious 😋 but very spicy. I definitely recommend the burrito. I ate it all and got full ☺️. My hubby ordered a brisket burrito that was very dry. Had to save it for later to mix it with BBQ sauce.

The owners are so nice. The food is amazing and worth every penny !!! I got the barbacoa plate and my husband got the Asado plate. The portions are big so we got to take some with us for the rest of our trip.

Our family stopped at Chila's on the way back to Houston, and we couldn't be happier! The chile relleno burritos are amazing! We will stop here again in the future.

On the way home to Houston from big bend national park. We needed something to eat and this place had drive through. OMFG This place is sooooo delicious! Please stop by here and eat the tacos! I had the Guiso and my husband ate the barbacoa taco.

You can taste the love they put in those tacos. The tortillas even tasted homemade
