Carissa was wonderful in helping me locate a few items I needed in the store & even suggested some places I should stop to visit while passing through One of the most friendly staff members I've encountered at a travel stop! 5 stars for this pilot and 10 stars to this employee for being so helpful & kind

Stopped at this location at 2am to get gas. Upon trying 5 times with no success, using two different credit cards, went into the store and asked the cashier what was wrong with the pumps. She told me that numbers 7,8 and 9 were open. When I went back outside I saw that I was on number 9 so I tried 3 more times with no luck. I went back inside and asked the cashier again what was wrong with the pumps and she told me that nothing was wrong. I told her that they still were not working. She then told me that I had to pay first. I asked her why she didnt tell me this before and her answer was, "you didnt ask me." Totaly unacceptable response from a very rude and stupid person. Needless to say I didnt get gas here, went to the next exit for gas.

Glad we decided to stop here. Bathrooms were clean. Some nice hot bar and refrigerated munchies. Impressive chip selection. Lots of beverage choices. Little area to sit down to eat. Plenty of gas pumps that are well lit at night.

I stopped here to use the facilities and charge my car. Excellent stop for a charger! It's been years since I had a Cinnabon. I went inside the Flying J and saw the Cinnabon where Leah was closing shop. Although she was closing she patiently answered my questions and checked my out offering to hear my cinnamon roll with nuts. Thx Leah! She was efficient with a smile. The rest of the store was well Laid out. Restrooms were clean.

I moved from Florida to El Paso about 5 years ago. The contents of my vehicle included everything we weren't comfortable putting in the moving truck and 4 of our dogs. My wife had reserved a hotel room for the first night. Dealing with the dogs in the hotel room was not fun. The next day, I drove from Mobile and kept ... driving. By the time I was out of mental gas, I was in Fort Stockton. I stopped here and asked the attendant if I could sleep for a few hours in my car and reserved a shower. He happily obliged and suggested a place to park where he could have eyes on my car while I would not have too much light disturbing me. I recliner the driver's seat and slept for 4 hours. After I woke up, I took the shower. The shower facility was very clean with all amenities provided. The water was hot with great water pressure. It was $15 that was well spent. I left the shower alert, happy, and clean. Finally, I filled up my coffee and hit the road. It was just what I needed to make it to my wife at our new home safely and without having to deal with the pandemonium of checking into a hotel with a gaggle of dogs!

A flying J truck stop five stars Guy? Yes. One reason....Back scratcher!Let me explain. I was turning south into a little populated area of Texas and didn't know what the supply of gasoline or prices would look like. so I pulled into a place ive visited in other areas before, The Flying J, to fill up.I also realized a few beverages id brought from home required a bottle opener. So while the truck filled, I went inside to get a couple of things and see if they had an opener. After looking and not finding I ask the counter clerk for assistance and she looked at the other clerk like...whats a bottle opener. She then turned to me and said if we have one it would be right down that way. Waving over towards the taquito and hot dog roller isle! AS i pursued the instant-relief headache packets and Tums, there it was! A tray is full of back scratchers. An aside. I've had an itch in the middle of my back i can't rtelescoping extension I thought..Sold.Then I noticed the center of the monster's hand was V-shaped. No, I thought! Is it possible the back scratcher doubles as a bottle opener? Turns out Yes! perfect! So I decided to drink while driving. Fever Tree Ginger Ale that is. Thank you Flying J Travel Center!!!!! Sometimes things just work out.

I stopped overnight for some rest at the Fort Stockton Flying J. I woke up to discover my batteries were dead. I tried my jump start pack, but it didn't do the trick this time. I went inside to ask some assistance. The staff flatly refused, citing liability concerns. So now I have a gas powered RV that can't go anywhere until some good samaritan comes along. I'm literally stuck at the station until I can beg a random stranger into coming to my vehicle in the back of the truck lot. I'm a veteran and I'm wondering just what the hell I actually signed up to defend if this is what our society is devolved to.

Clean facility and the staff was nice. Coffee tastes like memories of raindeer piss so I'd avoid that at all costs.

Stopped for gas on our way back to Houston from Arizona and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The store/bathrooms were clean, staff was nice, and there were a ton of options for cold and hot food/snacks, drinks, etc. There was a Subway (where we had fresh sandwich), a soup bar (the broccoli and cheese was again, surprisingly good) and a small Cinnabon stand. The 8-Tesla chargers were an unexpected nice touch (7-were being used while we there).

Gas pump didn't stop while I was holding on to it and gas went all over the side of my car and on the ground. I went into the store to have someone help me clean it up and was accused of leaving the pump and wasn't given any help to clean it up. I'm traveling with a child and have to drive 300 miles and wasn't helped at all to remove the gas from the side of my car.

Stopped here to get gas and something to eat. Bathrooms were clean, mixture of snacks etc. Lotto and scratchers available. I got a donut and tried their flying J brand coffee which was surprisingly good. Overall I felt it was better than Loves which you see all the time on the road.

Avoid this location unless you are on fumes. We got taken not once, but TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!First we asked for $25 dollars of gas in pump 14. It was pushed to 13 instead and someone pulled up and pumped OUR gasoline and vanished. Went inside to explain and we told we were mistaken and we'd have to work it out with someone who was LONG GONE onto I-10. The cashier was quick to tell us we were wrong and that he had no cameras to monitor. HmmmmmmNext, we went to another pump at the same facility to use our credit card and were skimmed twice when they didn't work and paid cash instead. 75 miles down the road we were texted about fraud on both cards used for a total of 2K. AVOID THIS LOCATION if possible.

Many convenience/liquor store type items. Tons of Mexican candy I've never encountered. Bathrooms are clean for the most part. We picked up water here for our road trip. They have a Subway and Cinnabon.Plenty of gas pumps (a bit pricey for Texas) and 8 Tesla superchargers.
