Steak was tender exactly how I want it; okra was exceptional and baked potatoes was on point. Thank you> Means a lot for being miles away from home.

I really had to think hard on this review. I finally stopped in and tried the place after passing through numerous times. Upon entering, I Loved the look of the place and the salad bar looked amazing. I asked questions about menu items and the server had to go ask someone else for answers. Very little knowledge abiut the menu. Things like what steak came with a certain combo. And how many shrimp came with it. 😕
I ordered the largest ribeye steak with baked potato and cowboy beans. Also chips and queso as an appetizer.
It took quite a while for the appetizer to come out, especially for chips and queso. It was good but very small queso for the money in my opinion.
I had a hard time getting a refill on my drink and had to ask another server finally.
When the main course arrived the steak smelled great. It was a beautiful cut and cooked perfectly. But then I took a bite....
It was super tender. But totally unseasoned. Very disappointing. The baked potato was luke warm at best and didn't even melt the tiny pinch of shredded cheese I was up charged for along with the "exactly" 6 little pieces of bacon bits. A total let down.
The cowboy beans were fair but nothing super special.
Another couple came in and was seated next to me. They were served great looking rolls with butter that I was never even offered! 🤷
The dining room was a little too warm as well. Which was confirmed by the other couple fanning themselves with their menus... When they addressed it with the staff, they simply said "yeah, the heaters on" 🤦
Overall this is a beautiful place with tons of potential. But a total let down.
Very disappointed and really expected more for a $55 meal!

Had a great dinner. If you are from outside the area ask about the meals, they may be different than you envisioned. Shepherds pie is made with either chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken. The Philly uses a queso instead of whiz (or cheese) . The Philly is a great sandwich this way! Wait staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Drinks are great here.

We were so disappointed. We thought the full parking lot was a good endorsement but we were mistaken. The food was decent, but the service was so, so bad. It took 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. She returned 10 minutes later to take our food order, still no drinks. I told her I was not ready to order food and I wasn’t sure I wanted to wait any longer for drinks. She begged us not to leave and returned several minutes later with our drinks. My husband questioned if she got his beer right, and she insisted it was, but color and flavor didn’t seem right. We ordered food and she offered to bring rolls, which we expected would come quickly. Another 15 minutes passed and she dropped a basket of rolls on the table and was gone before we could ask for napkins and silverware. She returned to see if we wanted another round of drinks before our food, which we figured was a good ideas since the first ones took so long. We ordered and waited. Someone from the bar brought my husband’s beer but no wine for me. This time the beer was served with lime and was correct in taste and color, thus proving our thought that the first one was wrong. Our food came out with someone from the kitchen. Still no napkins or silverware. Finally someone else noticed we needed utensils and went to get them for us. The food was decent but not great. My husband’s steak was the best part and cooked correctly. We finished our dinner and still my wine had not come. No one checked on us during the meal and I also ran out of water. By the time the server came back we had been finished with our meal for at least 10 minutes. Still had not gotten my wine so at that point I asked her to cancel it. And I should add that over the course of our time there, a busboy ran his cart into our table on two different trips by and into my husband’s leg as well. I also used the restroom at one point and discovered it trashed. Overflowing garbage cans, a stall door that wouldn’t lock, loose rolls of toilet paper not on the racks. Disgusting. All in all it was one of the worst experiences out we’ve ever had.

Food: they ran out of EVERYTHING on a Monday. They ran out of the main dish (steak). My steak was cooked good inside. Outside was chard burnt and under seasoned. My sides were changed and not provided.
Service: she was great. Bar server needed help. Where the heck was management to realize this?! Kitchen sucked. Late, cold and orders were wrong. Very sad
Atmosphere: there was a crowd but management was nowhere to be seen. People left because of the lack of management. Then EVERYONE left because the kitchen smoked all the restaurant.

This place is the highlight of this area. Do better and you will profit better.

Please someone call Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares! I really wanted to like this place but they made it impossible.
Both of our steaks inside was raw but the outside was well done, one of the sides was arriving after we actually finished the meal. Had to steal silverware from another table cuz nobody brought it to us when the food arrived.
