We waited 25-30 minutes just to get seated, there were people ahead of us that just left because of the wait. Once we were seated…. They were out of diet soda, no biscuits and we didn’t feel like paying 14-15 dollars for a hamburger so we left without eating. Service was extremely slow. Staff were polite what there was of them.

My son, sister and brother in law went here this past Saturday morning around 0915. We were the second table in the place. We were told they only had 3 biscuits left and could only do one order of b&g for my son. The food took a very very long time. No offense to the server, she tried but I suggest going elsewhere in Fort Stockton. No tea bags for hot tea, no Splenda for my iced tea, and if couse 3 biscuits. My omelet was nothing special, no grits, I guess I was too far West and North for those. Overall I will not return to this place.Buyer beware.

We stopped here on our way to Big Bend and had a delicious meal before our camping trip. Our server, Eva, was wonderful and very attentive. The food was excellent- I had a great chicken fried steak! Thanks for a fabulous meal! Highly recommend!

My hamburger steak meal with loaded baked potatoes had the potential of being really good, except that the lid of the salt shaker must of fell off! It was so terribly salty it was not edible. Loaded mashed potatoes only came with shredded cheese and a slice of bacon. No sour cream, butter or chives. The salt was unreal!!!!!

Definitely a relaxing establishment in the Fort Stockton area. Had the Green Chile cheese burger. It was a major mouth full. Along with the beer battered onion rings. I would definitely stop here again!

Maybe we stopped in at a bad time, but the ham at breakfast was inedible. Tasted like spam honestly. Totally a processed food. Bacon was good. Portions were tiny of the bad ham but I guess that's a blessing lol. Hash brown were white lol, they needed a few more min on the grill. The French toast and waffles both were top notch! We wouldn't try again.

Don't judge a restaurant by its exterior - while the outside does not look like much (just very plain and even a tad desolate), you are greeted by kind service - and fresh, simple food. We ordered the Chopped Salad as well as an egg dish and were very pleasantly surprised by the tastiness and freshness of all of the food. While you may not go out of your way to eat here, if it is on your route it is the perfect stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Only one waitress, but she should have been easily able to handle the three tables in there... We were seated, then we waited quite a bit for menus. We asked for coffee, and the table of 4 interrupted her, asking for an extra order of toast. She went back, made the toast before getting our coffees out. That is a small thing, yes, BUT she could have easily brought coffee, by then the toast would have been ready. Waiting on one table at a time is NOT efficient. Do NOT walk by a table, carrying a coffee pot, without asking coffee drinkers if they would like more. I should never have to ask for a refill of coffee, at breakfast time. It wasn't just us, either. The food arrived hot, and was good. Prices are good. Service sucks, and is very slow.

I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast for dinner! Scrambled eggs with mushrooms, cheese, and spinach with hash browns and dry toast on the side after a long wait. However, my two dinner mates ordered straight from the menu. Portions were children's size. The pricing was not children's size.

Hamburger and cheeseburger were excellent. Had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, but service was quick after that and waitress was nice.
