Box Car BBQ absolutely blew us away catering my husband’s Army retirement event! From the start, Jeremy made everything easy with great communication and menu options. On the day of the event, he and his staff were kind, professional, while going above and beyond to take care of every detail.
And the food? Hands down the BEST BBQ we and our guests have ever had ANYWHERE in East Texas. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth, the ribs were perfectly smoked, and the sides and sauce are just as amazing.
People are still talking about how incredible everything was!

I absolutely love Boxcar BBQ! The jalapeño cheese sausage is amazing, the turkey is always on point, and the brisket never disappoints! I also don't usually eat potato salad from anywhere, but theirs is on another level. It's that good. Definitely get there early or order ahead so you don't miss out. Super friendly service and really great bbq. I highly recommend them!

I hate to pile on the negativity but this place was bad. They didn't have any brisket OR ribs, just pulled pork. This is Texas not North Carolina. I don't know why i expected better from a gas station place. I won't be going back

The place was great the environment was okay I ordered coleslaw mac and cheese and a pulled pork sandwich the pulled pork sandwich was okay but they added liquid smoke to it and I didn't really like that and I get it the mac and cheese was not good at all it was spicy and I did not ask for spicy it was all liquidy and disgusting and I don't know if it was because it was in a gas station but it was all just disgusting ???
