Classic rural South Texas, Tex/Mex restaurant offering the classic fare such as beef guisada, enchiladas, carne asada, menudo and caldo de res. Big menu. Food has good flavor, comes out quick. Excellent service. Excellent price. Tejano music on stereo to entertain. Beer available.
We went to a Mexican restaurant for breakfast this morning. The food was amazing. The service was fast and friendly. And the prices were less expensive in Freer, Texas, at this place, than in Mexico. The tortillas were huge. The plate was a huge plate filled with food. Way too much food for us. And we really thoroughly enjoyed it. He ordered an omelette. I ordered chilaquiles rojo. The rojo sauce was smokier than what I'm used to. But it was so delicious, just the slightest...
My first time to stop by to eat. Very convenient to park the 18 wheeler and go in to enjoy a delicious meal served up by friendly and polite waitresses! Everything about the experience was excellent! I’ll definitely be back soon!
