Terrible Service!! We traveled from Laredo, Texas to have their great tasting burgers, only to be disappointed with the horrible treatment!! Just left restaurant! We walked in and were greeted by the waitress saying to us, “ you all can sit but don’t have time to clean the table!” I guess they only have good customers service when the place is empty not full like today…

My husband and I were just passing through, staying the night in Freer Tx, when we happened to check out The Liberty Cafe for dinner. Can't find anything bad to say! Great food, great service, great prices! If you're ever passing through and need to stop for a bite to eat, this is the place!

Every time my dad wants to visit his property out here in south Texas we always stay in freer. He loves the big burgers here as they are big and hot and freshly made. The issue primarily is time. Order over the phone 20 miles away coming in from my dad’s property and somehow the order isn’t ready yet in after 30 minutes on the way.

They have homemade chicken fried steak, fries, mashpotato, the paddy in the hamburgers are homemade. Just make sure you ask them for the homemade foods they have on the menu.

Love our local café. They always treat everyone like family and wait staff is always pleasant and willing to help. Food options galore and always on point. Recommend the Mexican plate #2 or the Panchos Supreme with chicken fajita! It's nice and quiet most days but they seem to alsmot always have their busy days. Plenty of seating and tables of that can accommodate different sized groups.

Good food with very reasonable prices. We had a big group and even with that the service was good. Very friendly place.

Hands down the best steak strips in all of South Texas, from the toasted bread to the most delicious cream gravy, this strip is made with real steak, the crusted breading has flavors galore. I loved every thing.

Awesome small town breakfast joint. The food is so good and so cheap, you seriously can’t beat it.

Crap service and crappier prices (price gougers) . Have fun waiting over an hour for mediocre food cooked by junkies. This business has really gone down hill , what a shame.
