I love bbq and I travel in state and try everything this bbq has a pundit smell and taste I attributed to possibly cooking with mesquite but it’s ok I didn’t like everything is done out of view

This place is definitely a hidden gem! I absolutely love their smoked oxtails!😋. They are cooked to perfection, literally falling off of the bone. The dirty rice was a pleasant surprise. It looks so unassuming but packs a mouthful of flavor. The beans were sweet and smoky. A perfect complement to the oxtails. Definitely worth the trip!
If you’re looking for amazing BBQ, this place is an absolute must-try. Everything was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and juicy. The brisket practically melted in my mouth, and the ribs had that perfect smoky flavor with just the right amount of sauce.
The service was outstanding too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. You can tell they really care about their customers and the quality of their food.
Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Decided to try this BBQ since I heard great things about it. Unfortunately, the only complaint I have is the BBQ had an after taste like lighter fluid or something and I'm not a fan of sugar in my potato salad. I got a 3 meat plate and a pound of oxtails. Maybe that was a bad day, not sure, but my experience with BBQ, you are not supposed to have that kind of after taste.
