5-STARS TO TRENT, AVERY & KASEY!

I come from a background of fine dining experience of 6 years and now I’ve been working for corporate America for 4 years so I’ve been having the privilege of enjoying fine dining from a guest perspective, which I must say HOW THANKFUL I am for Trent, Avery & Kasey for taking EXCELLENT CARE of my friends and I (party of 8) for our beloved friend Ian’s Birthday!

Avery kept checking on us frequently to ensure we were fine, Kasey kept making sure we had our drinks and followed up frequently, and Trent was especially gracious every time I had him go back to provide a rare cut for me and he was super gracious from the beginning.

What a PHENOMENAL START to the week!

I had an excellent lunch experience today at Fogo de Chão in Friendswood, Texas, thanks to Avery. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely engaged throughout my visit. Avery treats his customers with such warmth and professionalism. It truly made my dining experience outstanding. His excellent customer service and hospitality left a lasting impression on me, and I can’t say enough about how well he takes care of guests. Thank you, Avery, for making my lunch so enjoyable!

We had a great time celebrating my birthday at Fogo. Great food, great atmosphere and great service.

They never made it right. They wanted a lot of personal information that I wasn’t comfortable providing. When I told them I wasn’t comfortable providing medical information they stopped responding. So no refund and no follow up. AND if you look through the recent photos they still have tongs FULLY on top and touching food. Every person who picks up a tong to serve themselves then places it back on the food. Extremely unsanitary.

Really disappointed. In the beginning they offered us a free dessert because we were celebrating our anniversary. However it really just wasn’t a great experience at all. The sides were cold and the yuca fries came out tough…I could hardly cut them with my knife. The salad bar was really unsanitary…for example the entire tongs are placed on top of the deli meats so each time someone picks them up they then place them back down in the food. It was dirty. Then as we sat down the meats rarely came to our table. At one point we waited 20 min before any meat arrived…but also we realized where is our waiter? Half way through the service he left and we never saw him again the rest of the night.

Then here comes the manager here to assure us the meat was coming and it kind of did. The meat had no flavor and I received a steak that was raw…cold. In the center. I pointed it out and nobody said anything.

Now we are done and waiting for our check…we waited 30 min to pay. Just sitting there. Then the manager comes and offers us not one but two free desserts “on the house.” Dessert is ALWAYS on the house if you’re celebrating btw 🤦🏻‍♀️ what we wanted was to not have to pay $168 + tip for such a bad experience. But we did we paid for it all and declined the second dessert.

And I don’t trust the reviews. Because while we were still eating a card was placed on our table and we were told “we are in a competition for reviews and it’s neck and neck please leave us a google review and mention my name” ….for real. We weren’t even done eating…we were still waiting for our meats 😭

And this morning…I’m feel sick. Probably from the food.

Love this place! The only thing I'll add is that it would be perfect if they supplied lobster picks for getting the meat out of the crab legs. Otherwise,

a perfect dinner.
Update: another excellent experience. We had a long talk about adding knife rests into the cutlery service with our waiter Demetrius ( who was awesome)! Over all excellent meats and table service.

This was my second time here and it was a great experience. The food selection, the drinks, the atmosphere, and the staff were all amazing. I especially want to thank Demetrius for making our time here so welcoming and made my wife's birthday truly special.
