Meh...,I don't usually write reviews on first time visits,but there's some things that I think must be discussed
I went here for a $10K karaoke contest
food was ok..nothing special...
the service was a bit lacking however, it was taking a long time for orders,and we had to keep reminding our waitress for what we ordered,no fault to her,she and the other waitresses were probably busy,but the bar and kitchen was very slow and probably was the problem...
the atmosphere was also just kinda meh...its a bar...
Now,a few other things
the owner made a comment at some point during an intermission cause they were trying to get a contestant on the stage,and he was making some jokes about one of them being Chinese and how she was pregnant?I don't know about you,I am fine with some jokes, but I think this one was too much...who knows...maybe I miss heard,but it didn't sound respectful and it sounded racist
the other thing was,the owner was very rude,and combatively evasive when I was trying to ask some kind and simple questions, ok...story time,so,I get up there with my brother and two of our friends,were waiting to get seats and they tell us we cant reserve seats,and can only seat 4 people at a 4 person table,etc,no more,no less, ya know...whatever,we can wait, we wait trying make sure we know who else in our families are coming to support her in this contest,and the owner told me "you have to put your knife in your car",in texas you can basically carry what ever weapon you want,and I understand and respect the law and the rights of business owners to restrict that even though I highly disagree with it, being told this by the owner, I just wanted to ask a few questions in regards to 2A rights, I wanted to ask and comment on his lack of signage (30.05(restricts unlicensed carry open/concealed of a firearm),30.06(restricts licensed conceal carry of a firearm),30.07(restricts licensed open carry of a firearm, and the 51% notice(Restricts the carry of firearms and all other weapons by civilians wither licensed or unlicensed(with a standard state carry license not a PPO license)if the establishment gets more than 50% of their sales from alcohol)), I understand it could of been the fact that there's a 10k prize on the line,but he still could of had the common courtesy to answer some of the questions I had,like,"where's your signage?","is this a rule only for the contest night since there's a large amount of money on the line?" and I just wanted to comment how i will comply since I didn't know I was going to a place were weapons would be restricted,but I would give some of my knowledge of the law, to help better understand were the owner is coming from and so he can hopefully understand what Iam saying as a fellow citizen in this country...,nope....nada....,he kept telling me "weapons aren't allowed",raising his voice and being rude,so I told him I understand and I will comply with this request,but first I had some quick questons,he still said no,I asked why I cant ask him some simple questions, and he said "you can ask all the questions you want,but I am not going to answer them"...
not to spread any rumors or anything...,but does this guy sound like a power hungry conman?or maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed...,I don't know, seeing other comments and how he acts,he sounds like someone who only cares about money,charging 5 dollars for entrance, for ok food,an ok atmosphere and ok service,and a karaoke contest that suffers from favoritism(happens a lot apparently at this place),wither to con the other contestants or the judges just purely suck at their job.

First time I had been here and I wasn't disappointed. The owners were there and they were very welcoming. They walked the floor checking on everyone. The place looks great and the staff was on point. The atmosphere is very laid back. They offer traditional bar food with a Greek twist. I will definitely be coming back again!

DO NOT enter the $20,000 karaoke “contest” unless you’re connected. It is totally rigged by the owner. I don’t even know if the money is real. I will never step foot in that place again. Wait staff is friendly, food is marginal.

We went to watch A&M footbal and they had $10k karaoke event going. Best singer didn't make it out of first round, looked like a rigged event to all of us. Guy that messed up the lyrics won, and happens to be on the books to start singing up there. Weird event for sure. Beer was cold, waitstaff was on point, owners seemed pretty cool

Came here on Labor Day cuz Center Court was closed. Got the naked wings and they were absolutely disgusting. Tastes baked, tho the waitress assures me they’re deep fried I have a hard time believing that. The fat wasn’t crispy at all, but rubbery and chewy. The mac and cheese balls were deep fried Kraft and all the draught beer tasted metallic. Honestly, I’m not sure how this place has such a high rating. If you’re looking for quality food and good beer, you could do better in Alvin.

The atmosphere is laid back. Tom's of TVs to watch sports and 75 cent wings every Monday and Tuesday. Let me tell you that the wings are the best I've had. They also have the best homemade hummus. All the food is fresh and made to order.
What makes this place 5 stars is the top notch customer service.
Kid-friendliness: The place is a bar and restaurant. They have a very nice patio and tables and booths to sit and eat with kids. I would not recommend taking kids on a Friday or Saturday night past 9. Also a dog friendly place
