We found this place and had to try it, so glad we did! Everything here is awesome, it’s going to be a problem that this is so close to our house 😂 The Flautas were like home made, definitely getting them again. Of course had to have the Cubano, can’t go wrong! One thing we didn’t expect was the craft cocktail list, we got the El Patron “The Boss” which is a play on an old fashioned, absolutely LOVED it! Highly recommend

The BEST Cuban sandwich! It’s sooooo incredible! Very clean and excellent service, too!

Pretty good food and even better service. But they are pricey. 1 app, 2 entrees and teas was over $60 pre-tip. Might explain why I was 1 of 2 tables there at 1pm.

My wife and I went here for a date night. The environment was nice and quaint. Very much felt Cuban themed with bright colors. The plates, glasses, and even the salt shakers were premium and beautiful. The service was good and attentive.

They do have alcoholic beverages. I got the margarita which was delicious. I was disappointed in the amount I received for the price I paid. Felt like it was a tequila shot and didn’t last long.

We got the appetizer sampler and the pollo con arroz (chicken with rice). We were very much satisfied with the portion size and the taste was authentic. I think my favorite was the pork inside breading, but the empanadas and flautas were so good too!

The chicken was a little plain, but very tender and juicy. The dish comes with cooked plantains which I enjoyed. My wife and I will definitely be back!

Delicious Cubano sandwich! And their bread with butter/garlic aioli (not exactly sure what it is) is absolutely amazing!!

My only issue is the prices are a bit high. But you know, inflation.

Decore and atmosphere very nice and thoughtful. Don’t want to sound racist or sterotype but a Hispanic server would be more authentic and add to atmosphere. The food on the menu is ok. We ordered the appetizer sampler and the best part was the mango salsa. Empanadas were bland, did not have hardly any Cuban spices if at all, same really with all the items on the sampler. The tostones get ruined and lost with the ropa vieja- also lacking in Cuban spices. An appetizer of the tostones with the traditional garlic/lime/oil would be nice to offer or with fresh plantain chips. Also surprised no paella is on the menu.

Houston's premier Cuban restaurant. Compliments to the culinary expert.
The presentation combined creativity, refinement, and mouthwatering flavors. My husband and I applauded the sophisticated decor and atmosphere. Our server's knowledge and affable nature impressed. Every aspect of Habana Heights Cuban Restaurant impressed.

For white people who don't know any better I can see why they rate it a 5 star or it could be the owners friends, family or themselves posting 5 star reviews. But if you're a Latino from the Caribbean, Central or South America then we know better. I can taste Sysco and Goya food a mile away no matter how you dress it up. I ordered my food and in less than 3 mins or so the plate was at my table. Not even warm. I'm not complaining about the promptness, but come on man, that's reheated boxed food which explains how fast it was out. I ordered the ropa vieja and the meat although flavorful it's def not from scratch, the beans are canned and the plátanos are also from a box. I can buy this microwave meal from HEB next door. If anyone wants to try freshly done plátanos and black beans go to the Salvadoran restaurant on I35 and Broadway. Everything there is made from scratch just to give you an idea. The food from Havana Heights is not fresh Cuban food nor is it traditional. It's like saying you ate Mexican food at some Texmex place like Gringos lol! Can't fool us Latinos, we know better. Good luck though! This is the 2nd time this location has tried to serve "Cuban" food

I had such high hopes for this plac nothing about the food is authentic cuban food the flavor was not there at all I walked in and said id like to place an order togo and she assumed i was a doordash employee? Anyway I ordered the ropa veija the portion all were verry small for what they we’re charging I also asked for a side of yuca in addition to the plantains they advertised the meal came with online and even clarified with the server who took my order that id like both and did not mind paying extra for both she asked and assured I was getting both and no plantains ? the papa rellenas were so tiny and had maybe half tablespoon of picadillo in then and the potatoes tatsted like instant the server overall was nice however the other employees gave privileged bland and unseasoned just like the food 10/10 don’t recommend I dont think there was one cuban in there working certainly whoever prepared my food wasn’t how stingy they were with the portioning was so un cuban of them
