Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

There is NEVER anyone at the front of the register. Today took the cake though… I could have prepared 10 cups of ice cream and walked out of that place without paying. We waited so long for someone to even come to the front and she didn’t even come until after we had sat down with our bowls filled with yogurt. She charged us after the fact. Half the flavors were not working and she didn’t seem to care to get them fixed either. Three people came in and left and one lady even yelled to get her attention and she came out saying oh I was just waiting for you to be ready to pay. We left and there was still no one up front lol! WORST SERVICE EVER!

The fro yo was very watery & grainy. I used to love this place, sad it went downhill.

Love the pineapple dole. Overall great selection. We do love sitting outside at tables. Price is fair. Only drawback was the bathrooms were closed off and it felt like it was out of convenience, clerk had no reason or apology when asked. Def an issue when you bring kids.

Fairly priced. I like how the sample cups are easily accessible so I don’t have to ask for samples. They also have a generous 20% military discount. Favorite place for my kids and I.

They changed the best flavor cake batter. Making it vegan. It now taste horrible. That was the only reason I ever liked going. Now I don’t want to go back. While I was there many people said it was bad. Who even is vegan and why do we need to ruin the best flavor for them?

The gingerbread was so good, too bad it was so thick only a sample amount came out. Asked the worker if it was out, she checked and said no it’s full it’s just very slow. nope! no more came out ! I held the handle down a minute several times and told her but she didn’t seem to care. The pineapple and vanilla were liquidy and made a mess on our hands. There weren’t many flavors available. The employee was either shy or rude I don’t know! She just didn’t want to help or communicate with us. My son was disappointed in the whole experience!

Jimena was there to check us out and was very kind and helpful. The place was very clean and the toppings were fresh and yummy!

Kid-friendliness: Kids love frozen yogurt and toppings. Staff is friendly with kids, and they even put on a event night and had free face painting and activities.

A bit disappointed. Your flyer for the Oct 4 event notes "Frozen yogurt, face painting, crafts and workshops." Nothing denotes a charge on this flyer. Clearly selling yogurt is your business, so when you advertise your flyer as how you did, it's presumed there would be complimentary yogurt, even if it's a small, dedicated portion size. The face painting and crafts were complimentary, so in that assumption so should some bit of yogurt. Otherwise, yes we know you sell yogurt. Anyhow. See attached flyer. Thanks for the complimentary crafts at least, and I know my family wasn't the only one who was disappointed by the wording presumptions on the flyer.

Always out of half of the flavors and always melted and multiple times have gone in there and had to sit for awhile before someone came out to pay

Wish I had read reviews before coming here… No employee present for a good while, 3+ flavors out of stock, 2 flavors (1 dairy, 1 non-dairy) were runny/not mixed well… They did have a decent selection of dairy-free options. No issues with checkout, but employee provided bare-minimum service. I’ve had much better experiences at the Pearland Parkway location.

Don’t waste your time coming here! All the fresh toppings are empty and when asked employee didn’t even seem to care “oh they didn’t stock”. Stick to the one on pearland parkway!

If a teenage worker coming out of the backroom with a non employee both of whom are adjusting clothing after almost 15 minutes of an empty store sounds like a place you want to visit this is the place for you. The pre-packaged frozen yogurt deal on Tuesdays has been a draw for me in the past. No more after today, waited for about 20 min to see a worker today. I finally gave up after looking at the prepacked frozen yogurt and seeing that most of them were ones from almost a month ago and showed signs of freezer burn. The ones that didn't look freezer burned had melted at some point in time because they no longer had the shape that the yogurt got coming out of the machines. Instead, the containers contents were smooth and not as full as they usually are when purchased in the past. Maybe new prepacked frozen yogurt needs to happen with the new management. Out with the old in with the new, especially when it comes to perishables.
