Shipley needs to work on their customer service. I arrived inside and was the only customer. I was not greeted at the front instead by the workers behind the racks of donuts. I asked for a dozen mixed donuts, dozen kolaches, and an iced latte. The worker brought up 2 kolaches and asked what kind of donuts. I said a mixture, she then gave me 10 donuts from the bottom row which were all iced and I finally said that’s enough from the bottom and she gave me 2 filled donuts. I told her I asked for a dozen kolaches and she went to get those and came back and said anything else? I did not ask for a latte after all this.

We haven't been customers for a long time, but they're a little better than the donut shop closer to our house. While in there yesterday I witnessed a woman coating the tops of donuts by hand with no gloves on. She wiped her nose with one hand and continued on! I asked to speak to the manager who told me that the icing get stuck to the gloves, but hands are washed before and after icing our donuts. Really?!!! So they expect us to trust an honor system concerning hygiene? They've lost another customer. I shudder to think what happens behind the front counter, as the woman was in plain sight near the front counter! Follow up: What's unfortunate is the generic response to my complaint. I requested to speak to a manager after witnessing your employee dipping donuts in frosting bare handed...no use of sanitary gloves. To this day I'm not sure the lady I spoke with was actually a manager. Her excuse was that the frosting sticks to the gloves, but she stated that the employees who top the donuts in frosting wash their hands before and after the task. Is this the honor system in place they expect us to trust?! You have lost our respect, trust, and more importantly, our business.

Tried to order online the night before using online and using the app. There are no payment options and without a payment selection you cannot order. EPIC FAIL! so now I have an account with stuff in the basket that it will not let me order. You website administrator sucks!
Staff in drive thru do not pay attention to your order and leave you sitting at the speaker for a long time. Then after ordering reask at the window due to her not paying attention. Also dont greet you at the window. Food was barely warm. This location used to be alot better. We wont be back

Ok, getting in & out of this parking lot in the am is a big NOPE. The service was great. I ordered 3 kolachis and 2 donuts 12.00$ ,ok no problem. Kolachi-They did not warm the kolachi's,the sausage is not ,,its a very cheap,bad tasting hot dog,the bread was tough and chewy, lacking in any flavor. So that's a no.Donuts - chocolate cake- very dry and crumbly but not in a good way. It's sweet not very chocolate forward at all. Filled chocolate -filling/ratio good, taste of filling is so/so, think canned pudding. So will I make the effort to stop for donuts here again,NO but if you absolutely have to- just get the plain glazed and be glad you got a donut , cause otherwise you can find waaay better than this place.#sorrynotsorry #shipleydonuts #dobetter
