WOW tried this place today. Best cupcakes I have had in a long time. I had the peanut butter cupcake. I will be going back. They're new to the area but have my vote.

My husband and I bought cupcakes from Smallcakes almost a year ago. They were absolutely amazing and by far the best cupcakes we’d ever had. We’ve since bought their cupcakes 2 separate times and they just aren’t the same. There isn’t nearly as much icing as there used to be, they taste very artificial, and they are no longer filled in the middle. We’re very disappointed they aren’t like they used to be. We won’t be coming back.

Let me tell yall something. Yesterday I needed some cupcake therapy. I accidentally went to the wrong place but I was at another bakery so I said let me buy something. I came home and was highly disappointed. I threw the cupcakes away. Today, I made sure I had the right address and let me just sum it up in one word, DELICIOUS! It was worth me driving from Texas City on my day off. Hands down the best place to get cupcakes!

Best customer service and best cupcakes in Friendswood!!!

All the cupcakes were really good, especially the banana cream one.

Helpful & will quickly make anything that is not stocked.

Store was not clean - floors were sticky and the place smelled. Over $10 for a scoop of ice cream and one cup cake. Very expensive.

This business is run by the greatest employees. I went to the store 1 hour before the store closed and the girl decided to close an hour earlier. Didn’t even care to say anything.

I used to enjoy picking up a dozen cakes here often. The last two times have left me with regrets. Yesterday, I went in for a variety dozen. Some of the cake was hard on top, leaving me to think they might be stale,day-old, or overbaked. The icing on all left a geasy aftertaste in our mouths, making it obvious that the frosting is crisco-cream, not buttercream. My family and guests shared less-than-stellar comments. And the price was over $50, about $10 higher than I have paid in the past. THEN, the girl presented a gratuity screen to add an additional $7-12 just for putting the cupcakes in the box!! I'll be looking for a new bakery.
