Do not be put off simple, and cafeteria, looking atmosphere. Service was good and the food was excellent. My wife and I split butter chicken and an eggplant dish. Portions were very generous and the food was delicious. He came with a large amount of basmati rice. Which was also excellent.

I tried their dahi puri, Masala dosa, paneer rolls and Gobi manchurian. Apart from dahi puri, I did not like the others. Especially Gobi Manchurian was bad! They put loads of color is what I felt.Overall, wouldn't recommend if you are a vegetarian.

Had the opportunity to have some Irani Chai. Since I was not sure how would it taste like but it was simply delicious and wouldn't disappoint you if you like Indian/Pakistani style Chai. It's very similar to it and taste really nice. The gentleman behind the counter was very courteous. Thank you.

I will be coming back! Goat curry is well made, a bit unique in flavor, chunky, almost creamy, nice amount of spice by default. The rice isn't plain basmati rice and has good flavor, naan is fresh and well made. The only complaint is it's a bit greasy but by no means a deal breaker. Also extremely fast turnaround time when ordering online. Said 30 minutes but within 5 I got notified it was ready.Very good, you earned a new repeat customer. Can't wait to be back on this side of town

Authentic and diverse Indian eatery with a large selection of snacks, appetizers, and entrees. We loved the quality of food, welcoming and accommodating service, as well as and most importantly the authentic taste of all the dishes. My husband especially is very picky about his meat dishes, and he said this was one of the best goat curries he has been able to find outside of his hometown in North India. We currently live in The Woodlands, but we will definitely be making the trip back to Katy to eat here again.

We ordered the goat biryani and it was delicious! We also decided to try the goat chops and I wish they had more. We got the last order that day. The chops were so tender and flavorful. I definitely recommend this place for spicy and authentic cuisine.

We came from Sugarland and ordered goat paya, mutton mughlai, qubani sweet, Shahi pieces sweet, onion pakoda, Irani tea, ponogulu and wada. Every item was outstanding and it resemble like we were eating in Hyderabad (they have branches in Hyderabad). Paya is must try because like this Paya you have to search a lot in Hyderabad. One can't find Paya like this in Texas..Qubani sweet was same like in typical Hyderabadi weddings...must try...Thanks to restaurant management for providing such a great Hyderabadi food.

Not for vegetarians. We ordered navratan korma and got a tray of gravy with raw apple pieces floating on the top. There were a few grapes as well but no sign of vegetables. I don’t think they have any experiencej or knowledge of vegetarian dishes.

A True Taste of Hyderabad at Green BawarchiLast weekend, my culinary journey took me to the vibrant and aromatic world of Hyderabadi cuisine at Green Bawarchi. Nestled between Katy and Houston, this delightful eatery offered an authentic dining experience that was both memorable and palatable.**Ambiance and Service:**Upon arrival, we were greeted with the most welcoming of smiles from the owner, setting the tone for the exceptional service that followed. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between casual comfort and traditional charm, inviting us to relax and indulge in the flavors that were about to grace our table.**The Culinary Expedition:**The feast began with a classic starter - Chicken 65. Each bite was a blend of tangy and spicy flavors, indicating that it was freshly prepared. Following this was the Chicken Khorma, a dish that was rich, creamy, and had the perfect amount of spice. The meat was succulent and fell right off the bone, a testament to the chef's attention to detail. The star of the show was the Goat Biryani. The rice was cooked to perfection, each grain separate and infused with spices that are synonymous with Hyderabadi cuisine. The goat was tender and flavorful, melding harmoniously with the aromatic rice.As a testament to the kitchen's mastery, the naan bread was a revelation in itself. Fresh out of the oven, soft, and embodying the very essence of comfort food, it complemented the gravies beautifully.**Dessert – A Sweet Epilogue:**To wrap up the meal, we savored the traditional Hyderabadi Qubani ka Meetha. This dessert, crafted with dried apricots and a generous sprinkling of nuts, was the perfect ending to our meal - rich, sweet, and indulgent. It was a celebration of heritage in every spoonful.Continuing from where we left off, I cannot end my review without mentioning the perfectly brewed Irani tea. It was the quintessential end to our rich meal. With its proportionate combination of sugar, milk, and tea, it provided a soothing balance to the robust flavors we'd just experienced. Each sip was a warm hug to the soul, reflective of the Irani cafes of Hyderabad. But there's more! For dessert enthusiasts looking for something refreshingly different, the restaurant offers a dedicated Paan counter where fresh paan is skillfully prepared. This traditional mouth-freshener, wrapped in betel leaves with a variety of fillings and flavors, was customized to our taste and provided a delightful, aromatic finish to a remarkable dining experience.**Verdict:**Green Bawarchi is a gem that offers an authentic Hyderabadi dining experience. From its freshly prepared food to the warm hospitality, it captures the essence of traditional flavors with every dish served. For anyone looking to embark on a true Hyderabadi culinary adventure, this restaurant is a must-visit. My taste buds are still relishing the memory, and I will definitely return to explore more of their delicious offerings. There is ample car parking available right in front of the restaurant, making the arrival and departure process as seamless as possible. This thoughtful touch ensures that your dining experience begins with ease and ends with a swift return to the comforts of your own vehicle without any parking woes.
