We stopped in for my birthday, we've been here before and have always received great service and food!
Chris was our waiter tonight. Absolutely top notch and phenomenal! He caught our conversation about my wife being gluten free, offered us gluten free bread which we didn't even know they had and the gluten free menu.
He made us laugh and joked back and forth with me, exceptional all across the board!

Chris did not do well. No bread brought to the table after saying he was going to. We ordered prime rib and instead of him checking the kitchen to see if they still had it, it was after 10 minutes he came back to us and said they had ran out. Changed the order and 40 minutes later the correct food was brought. Very frustrated as this place is usually better.

Zero stars. Asked for more bread and was told there’s a 2 bread limit for a party of 4. After that it’s $2.99….Really? A limit on bread? Who does that? Then my food was delivered cold. I will NEVER step foot in a Saltgrass ever again after 30 years.
My visit to saltgrass was excellent from start to finish. The staff graded as warmly, and our server provided outstanding service. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and quick to accommodate special request. The steak was cooked perfectly. h highly recommended for anyone looking for consistently great food and top-notch service.

We had reservations for 1:00PM, for the Saltgrass in Fulshear. The restaurant was not overly crowded, open tables and booths all around. They tried to seat us at a high top in the bar, we declined. We ended up at a table right in front of the door to the outside seating area as if we just walked in off the street on a holiday. They brought bread, no plates, we ordered an appetizer, (Range Rattlers, which were delicious), still no plates, we had to ask for them. Our table was not cleared before our entrees came out, so there was shifting of dirty plates, to get our food in front of us. Although our Server was very nice, we felt like we were at a lower priced establishment. My guest and I ordered the turkey dinner. The portions were very small, think cooking spoon portions, and maybe 3 tablespoons of gravy. The food was very bland, and I could only eat the mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. We were disappointed, as Saltgrass is usually very good.

I had ordered the mac and cheese and it was served in a cast iron bowl/plate. The cast iron was cold and I tried my mac and cheese and was cold and gummy. I let my waitress know and asked to reheat it. She was so apologetic and brought it to the back. Not even a minute later I get another mac and cheese. I go to gently touch the cast iron… cold again. Went to try my mac and cheese again it was cold and gummy again. The waitress apologized again and offered to grab another side, I got asparagus it was pretty good. Watch out for the mac and cheese. Anyways my waitress was super kind and did a great job and the steak bites were good too.

Sarah (with an H!) was absolutely delightful. Her personality is infectious. Her customer service is the best we have seen in a very long while! What an incredible asset to the team. We had such an enjoyable Girls Night out for drinks and appetizers. She dealt with our shenanigans and never made us feel like a bother or over the top!
