Had an amazing meal experience at Moondog. Amazing service! Amazing food! I had the Chicken Fried Steak and it was the best I’ve ever had. My companion had the Black Pepper Tuna and loved it too.

Great service by Elizabeth and the food was perfectly cooked. The crawfish queso and the hand breaded calamari was top notch. We also had the Pepper Shrimp that was amazing.

Very relaxed environment, great view of the bay. I had a shrimp po boy and it was delicious. It is a little more expensive then surrounding establishments. The atmosphere makes it worth it. Great place for couples or large groups. Very kid and dog friendly.

This used to be a better restaurant. In Rockport/ Fulton eating outside in good weather should be a great experience. The outside area by the bar was the only al fresco dining open. The area is entirely furnished with high level tables and chairs which are impossible to maneuver into a comfortable position to eat. A lot of the clientele are older and this makes it even more important to have sensible seating. The comfortable outside area was closed and this is the 4th time we have been faced with that situation. Who wants to sit inside on a sunny day at the seaside. We were disappointed with the food, clearly we hit a day with a chef who favored his pepper pot. Because we were seated by the bar it was noisy. The patrons were orderly but the manager/ bar tender was crazy noisy. She had no consideration for the loudness of her voice. Hey Moondog - get your act together you used to be one of our favorites.

I don't normally leave reviews but the mahi mahi tacos blew me away. The tacos were huge and every part of them were tasty and fresh. The sweet potato fries I got with it were also perfect. It's been like this both times I've eaten here. 10/10
