We got the shrimp basket with potato salad and the shack burger with fries. Unfortunately I did not get a picture before eating, but here is the aftermath.
The shrimp breading was light and the shrimp were moist. The meat had good texture. The potato salad was average. More mayonnaise than mustard. The shrimps were medium size, decent portion.
The burger looked to be 1/2 lb, which is what was advertised on the menu. It was not really seasoned and was cooked well done so kind of dry. The fries were your average undercooked/not crispy steak fries. They were also not seasoned at all. The bun was good. The menu says sour dough bun, but it was sweet and soft which was good.
The atmosphere was nothing special. The staff was mostly friendly and our waitress was attentive.
For what we got, the price was high.
I did hear another guest ask if things were cooked separately to avoid gluten contamination and she said yes. So if you're worried about gluten, there's that.

My husband just brought home forty dollars in food from this place. It was horrible. Took one bite of a pork rib and it was like eating jerky. Put it down tried another it was so greasy. Brisket, like leather. All meat Terribly smoky at that. One bite of potato salad, I almost spit out. Think grocery store brand but worse. Uncooked potatoes with mustard and mayo, that’s it. Beans? Out of a can with NO seasoning. My husband said the meat was just all right not great and didn’t like the potato salad at all. Just bad. Never again.
The food was better than I ever thought it would be. The service was kind and it wasn't as pricey as most barbeque places.

Really delicious! We got there right before the lunch rush. We had the 2 person dinner and chose brisket and fried fish with 2 sides (coleslaw and French fries). We also ordered the jalapeno bombers appetizer! Super delicious! Not too salty, not too sweet. Simply perfect
