Restaurant Review: A Warm Spot for Tex Mex Lovers, but Not My Taste
If you’re a fan of Tex Mex, you might enjoy this cozy little spot. The atmosphere is inviting, with warm hospitality from the lady who runs the place, making you feel right at home. The walls are decorated with nice photos that add to the charm.
However, as someone who isn’t a fan of overly Americanized Mexican food, I found the food lacking. I ordered a plate of nachos, and my friend had tacos, but neither dish impressed me. It felt more catered to those who enjoy the Tex Mex fusion rather than traditional flavors.
If you love Tex Mex, this place may hit the mark for you. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t my taste.

$10.99 for 6 pieces of nachos cheese with meat not worth your money over priced food ,I paid $27 for a quesadilla and a 6 piece of nachos?.if it would of taste good I would of give it a 3 star.
This is the perfect hole in the wall restaurant. I've been eating here for nearly 30years. Family run. Best Guacamole anywhere. Best enchildas in Houston. The hot sauce means it! Perfect spice level. I put it on everything and endure my heart burn happily.

I haven't been here since September, but it hasn't changed. The food was delicious, hot, and very, very reasonable! Just know, the salsa is sometimes hot (spicy), and tonight it was! ?
This place has been around forever! The first time I ate here was the mid 70s. They've been through a few different owners, but it's about the same as it ever was. I think they need to go up on their prices. I don't know how they're paying their bills with such cheap prices. I don't live in the area anymore so it was a drive to go over there.no regrets. Local people should support one of the few restaurants they have in town.
