Stopped at Deep Roots for the first time today. We really enjoyed the place. It's a "Plate Lunch" kind of place with only a few options each day... but that's one of the reasons I liked it. We had the catfish, with sides of green beans and fried potatoes. Everything was very good. Your price ($10 as of this time) included entree, 2 sides, drink and desert. No disappointments. Absolutely delicious food. Best chicken salad I’ve ever had, and chicken salad is one of my favorites. Broccoli salad was so fresh, and the banana pudding was great! We’ll definitely be back!

I have eaten here several times and the food is always great. Open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm only. Best down home cooking in the area and great prices. Comes with meal desert and drink for $10.00 +tax and tip. Well worth it if you can make it there for the lunch hours.
