By far the worst chicken fried steak I've ever ordered. Order was to go. No gravy just a ton of ketchup that I thought was gravy. $14.00. Just a rip off.

Review for Ferchos. We’ve never been to El Charro. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. Salsa for the chips was watery and flavorless, my date ordered Mar y Tierra, there was a pube like hair in it, I ordered the fish and shrimp soup. Our food had just got to the table, we were talking as people do at dinner. My date asked for a jalapeño and that’s when I noticed the hair in his plate. It was lodged between an onion and a bit of chicken. I pulled it out and showed it to him, it curled up like a pube but it could’ve been an arm hair or sideburn. I really wanted it to be a food fiber. Either way I couldn’t continue eating my soup anymore as I kept feeling like I had a hair in my throat. ? anyway they removed my dates dish off the bill but they still expected us to pay for my dish which we did because what are we gonna do walk out, not having to pay for meals that were prepared in the same kitchen, same staff but whatever. We won’t be returning. Our food had no flavor. I know everyone’s taste buds are different. I didn’t take a pic. There were other patrons and I didn’t want to embarrass the staff.

Queso was plain really basic. Fish tacos that I ordered were suppose to come with cabbage & a sauce that went on the tacos but instead dry when I questioned about the sauce was told they didn't have it not even the cabbage. We ordered tequila shots that were suppose to be anejo instead got silver then gave us a shot in a different glass on the next round and charged us double shots. When we told the manager about the anejo shots he wasn't apologetic just said did you drink em. If I'm spending my money I want what I pay for. I wouldn't waste my money here ever again food is trash.

Even though I rated all three categories a five, I gave an overall three because- The food portions are small compared to other mexican restaurants I have eaten at. That, and it was a bit pricey with the smaller food portions. Overall, okay restaurant to eat at, just not one I would highly recommend.
