Fries were not crispy at all. The zesty lemon pepper wings were hard to eat because there was so much batter. The wings are just huge clumps of fried batter with small about of meat. Overall, I won’t be returning back.

On Sunday, 7/28/24 @4pm, I was passing through Giddings, Tx, and stopped for a 2pc Fish Combo w/drink; the food was delicious, however, the Big Red fountain drink tasted like some sort of bug spray or like that smell you get from fertilizers.
On Tuesday morning, 7/30, I called the store to let them know, but I got no answer. Therefore, I'm leaving this review to hopefully correct the situation. Perhaps the machines need a cleaning ??♀️.

Host. Edith was rude. Refused to put wing sauce on the side. Said they have to toss them so if you don't like the new sauce you are SOL. Ordered extra gravy for 8 piece tender. Paid separately and she didn't put it in the bag. Overall experience sucked

The temperature of the establishment was maintained at such a low level that it deterred patrons from lingering to dine. Most customers ordered their food promptly and departing soon after, whereas my family and I chose to remain due to concerns about the cleanliness of our recently detailed vehicle. Consequently, we consumed our meal at an accelerated pace unlike any previous dining experience.
Always love Golden Chick. Like everything else, they have gotten expensive.

Very good food but they had the air conditioning on way too much. It was freezing inside, and I am usually one of the very last to complain about being too cold. Also the music was way too loud.

When I asked for honey sauce, the girl behind the counter replied with an attitude saying "you mean honey?" It says on the package in big letters HONEY SAUCE.. what else doesn't that girl notice while preparing our food? The older woman was great ?
