Terrible breakfast. Burned eggs, cold hashbrowns, and the bacon tasted so bad neither of us could eat more than half a piece. Even the coffee was bad. We asked if the gravy was homemade and the waitress lied and said yes. Im not sure what kind of biscuit it was, but it was some kind of bread-like something. Don't have to worry about ever going back here.

We wanted a nice sit down breakfast after an overnight stay in Giddings. We got seated at a downtown restaurant, then quickly realized that nothing sounded enticing. We left without fanfare, and went to Donuts and Breakfast. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and we got donuts!

Tried this for the first time after living in this town a year. WILL DEFINITELY NEVER BE BACK. The food was probably the worst breakfast I have ever had had. I had no idea you could burn bacon so badly that it resembled a dehydrated potato chip. The eggs we so over cook they were rubber (after I asked for them soft scrambled). They are trying to nickel and dime for everything including charges for coffee, and soda refills and Togo containers when if they would just focus on serving quality well prepared food it would not be an issue. The best thing about my meal was the bottled Diet Coke.

So I really dont see what everybody else does in this place! Its packed with regulars every morning! My experiences with the drive thru have been horrible! The other day I ordered a bacon egg cheese croissant, 1 lg jalapeño sausage kaloche and an orange juice. What i received was a croissant that was stale. A few black bacon crumbles with over cooked egg that was kinda green and the cheese wasn't melted at all because it was cold! The kaloche was a small instead of a large and the dough had been squeezed off! The orange juice was hi point and was warm! The whole bag went into the trash. No way will I ever go to this place again. Oh did I mention the waitresses were rude as well! No thank you ill pass by for now on!

The food is great, good flavor and prices are reasonable BUTTTT service was bad, she seemed like she didn’t want to be there and racist, as she was very friendly with the white couple next to us. Felt like we weren’t welcomed. That’s more important than good food, we will not be coming back. I hope they do something about it a smile and a thank you doesn’t kill anyone.

Maybe you have to get there early. At 9:30, iced donuts with sprinkles were all they had (and lots of kolaches)

Omelet was good, buscuit was soft and grits too salty. Also coffee seems weak. Prices were very reasonable and service was good. Fairly busy and going to try something different next time.

I just spent $18 on four tacos that were all made incorrectly!!!!

The kolaches were cold, and more breading and air than meat and cheese. The donuts were hard, like they were from the day before. First time trying this place, as I was driving through Giddings early one morning. Might try them again to see if maybe I went on an off day.
