If your looking for a “hole in the wall” mom and pop shop that has great food and friendly service I recommend this place. Me and my fiancee have never been so we decided to just try the Quesadillas to get a base of what this place can cook up. And let me tell you they both were 10/10. This place has friendly people and feels like home. I got a Torta! Between them and Pink Flamingo in Winona Texas, Pink Flamingo is the best. La Cabana's bun is bread shaped like hamburger with less meat and avocado. Taste really good and price is OK! Pink Flamingo has Tortas on French Style bread, toasted with lots of great tasting meat, more avocados and only a couple dollars more. It is filling!
The quesabirria tacos and consome are amazing. I'm from Mexico and I visit often. The food here is 100% authentic Mexican food. I also had an agua de jamaica, which was also really good. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
