They have no wheelchair ramp into the lower lever you still had a step up after my disabled mom already walked halfway around the building to find the front door and that’s when they told us there were 3 stairs down to our table and would not move us. we ordered the largest crawfish platter to only be told that they didn’t do any substitutes and then we tried to order oysters. They were out and we ordered lemonade. They were out after our meal arrived at the table. We got to looking and realized that we didn’t have any mushrooms they’re supposed to be a pound of mushrooms, that came with the meal well they don’t do any substitutes, they didn’t have mushrooms all they gave us instead was half a cob of corn to replace the pound of mushrooms that they didn’t have. We ordered the family size fried pickles. It comes with1 little bitty ranch we asked if we could get more ranch. It’s a dollar extra for two more little bitty ranches . we were trying to stay several about everything they didn’t have but then as we started eating, the crawfish noticed that over half had no tails it was just the heads I was a $200 meal worst place ever will never go back. Will never recommend it. The manager was so rude to us. The waitress was very kind Will never go back. That was a waste of money.Wheelchair accessibility: Is not wheel chair accessibility, very tricky iintrance on side of building but have to have mgr to unlock door and steep incline and then still have a step to get in, if you want to sit where it’s so loud you can’t even here yourself think

It was our first time at Skipper's yesterday, 4/03/24. We arrived 7pm and were told it'd be a 30-35 minute wait. We were happy to wait since it was our first trip and we drove about 40 minutes to come try it.While we waited my fiancé went to the bar to order us drinks. He said he was served promptly but was told by the bartender that the restaurants computer system was down so they were having difficulty. I will also share that he got a single shot of liquor and it cost $8, seemed a bit steep but no complaints. We were sat at a booth exactly after a wait of 35 minutes. Once sat we were told again that the system was down so they couldn't take orders but would be happy to get us drinks while we wait. Again, no issue. We appreciated the honest communication! By the time we did order it was 8:30. We ordered crawfish boat 3 hot and boudin egg rolls. The food was amazing!! We would come back for the egg rolls alone. The crawfish is the best we've had in East Texas from flavor to size.Overall we will return to skippers. They were communicative about issue, great food, and great atmosphere. A special thanks to the sweet server who continued to stop and talk to our baby. She kept him distracted and giggly!

All the Cajun food smelled great; neat little hole in the wall. Had the chocolate cake--it was excellent.Waitress was nice, but unprofessional. She and the manager were trying out new drinks at the bar. On the clock. Very strange to be drinking on the job. Would dine here again but not sit near the bar next time. Weird vibe.

My boyfriend and I shares a delicious boil after the best fried green tomatoes I've had in a long time with the greatest sauce. The atmosphere and weather were great. The service was awesome as well. Definitely going back!

Decent meal the other night. Service was okay. They started getting busy and did not see the waiter as much as I like. Timing on the food could have been better. The people who ordered fried food got theirs long before my boiled food came out. They were almost done eating by the time I got mine. Everything came out hot though. All in all, we will be back.

Simple but tasty fare. Very casual with polite and kind servers. Nice spice to the boiled shrimp and good hush puppies.

First time coming here and it was terrible. Will probably never come back, waited forever for a table, when we finally got a table we waited 20 minutes before I had to ask if a server could come to our table, and when a server finally did had to wait another 10 minutes for another server to come get our drinks. The crawfish tasted awful and all of our appetizers didn’t come out until after all of our food. LITERALLY had to ask 5 times for crawfish queso. Seriously need better service and some seasoning at this restaurant.
