So after 17 years and 3 to 5 times a week my mother has gone here for supper she was thrown out. Tonight she asked for a new coffee cup since the one she was served was cracked all the way through. The waitress Amanda refused to take the cup, then came back and took the cup. After 10 minutes my mother asked where her coffee was and the waitress proceeded to tell her you told me you didn't want it. My mother corrected her and told her she wanted her coffee just not in a cracked cup. Basically over hygiene was her main issue, especially since she just went into remission from breast cancer. Since she was the only person on, she called the manager and then came back and told my mother to leave and proceeded to take her food. My mom said she wasn't going to pay for a meal she didnt get and the waitess told her like hell you aren't. So a friend of hers paid the bill so my mother could leave with some pride. 77 years old with high anxiety and she gets treated like this? Now I have to drive an hour to care for my mother because of a full blown panic attack. How dare you Amanda! Shame on you! And you will never make a good nurse with this attitude, especially towards our most vulnerable residents.

Food is always delicious and service is great. Their homemade ranch is so good. Chicken fried chicken,Chicken fried steak,burgers,breakfast, chef salad, and chicken and dressing are all recommended. They also have real bacon is a plus for me I don't like the heat and serve kind.
Man oh man , I gotta say . This place is the place to be. First time visiting and everyone here knew each other, from staff to guest dinning in. Everyone having a good meal and talking with each other. What a great welcoming feeling. The coffee tasted great and the grilled chicken had a great flavor. Great spot to check out if you’re passing through town.
Ate the beer battered fish. Wasn't told it was spicy. I have been in the bathroom since arriving at home. I wont be back.

I used to go to Texas tradition in Gilmer my husband and I love their breakfast. now I'm going to the one in Gladewater just started recently it's just as good as the 1 that used to be in Gilmer. Great atmosphere friendly waitresses and great food home cooking.
