They were closed and didn't adjust their Google page. It was hard getting here and so looked for another restaurant and found a nice Italian place in the Square with plenty of flies to bug you called LA Vita, nice food and nice portion for under $25 for one person.

Wow! Actually, very good chinese is hidden in this great community. We drove past it twice, believing Google Maps was wrong. But, once we found it, we were treated to some really good cusines.

Steamed Char Sui Buns... in Glen Rose? The owner honestly told us she had them shipped in, but the taste and bite of the bun were awesome.

My wife's Cashew Chicken was as good as any she has eaten.

To test a good Chinese joint, I test their food with basic dishes like Chicken Chow Mein. Most places supply dry breast meat, tasteless sauce, and a medley of needless vegetables. Awesome, again. The breast meat was tenderize with the cornstarch marinade. The meat was tender and juicy. The sauce was flavorful and blended perfectly for this dish. The vegetables were simple and (my opinion) appropriate for chow mein. Celery, onions, and Napa cabbage (not green cabbage; yuck). Finally, the dish was thickened perfectly. A pleasant surprise.

Two bads: The fried pork wonton had a great wrapper but not enough pork filling to get a taste. I WILL PAY MORE for a good bite of the pork filling. I wondered when I ordered, it was too cheap.

The other negative was the sweet n sour that came with the fried pork wonton. It was watery. When dipping the wontons, no sauce clung. It would have been nice to at least dip the wonton wrappers for a decent flavorful bite. This leads me to believe I would have an issue with fried pork, chicken, or shrimp.

The people of Glen Rose are blessed with two Chinese restaurants.

There is no way this place rates even 2 stars. There are some places that should not be in business. This is one of them. There was an oder when we first walked in. Didn't think much about it cause it is an old building. Things went down hill from there. The food was bad, very bad and after taking our order the service was nonexistent. Do not eat here.

Orange chicken was not good at all. It tasted like soap. The rice tasted old and smelled of dirty mop water. it was crunchy. I'm very disappointed. The egg roll was ok. It is so nasty. Do not waste your money here.

Don't eat at this place the food is nasty they give you drinks in a bottle and a can. Fried rice was taste like it was cooked in a dirty pan. Broccoli was way overcooked and mushy.

We accidentally ordered here by mistake. We like the Teriyaki place in Glen Rose the best. We ordered chicken fried rice and the chicken had no flavor at all. The rice did not appear to be fried or seared, there was also no egg in the fried rice which I thought was a staple in fried rice. It tasted very plain with little to no flavor. Very disappointing experience and we will not be back.

Greeted promptly, large menu options, but the place doesn’t smell clean or fresh & the menu was sticky. The kitchen behind the counter had no lights on. At this point we almost left, but decided to give it a try & support a local merchant.
Atmosphere is not much to speak of. The food was delivered quickly and hot, but didn’t have much taste. No condiments were offered. 2 lunch meals & water $25. Neither of us finished our food and decided not to come back again. ?

Went to dinosaur tracks and spotted this on the way. The place was deserted so we were a bit leery, but the food was hot and delicious. Lunch specials were a great value. If I were local I would eat here regularly.

If I had to sum up this place in one word, it would have to be authentic. The food and overall experience reminded me of the eateries on the streets of the Mong Kok district in Kowloon, Hong Kong.Fast, hot, delicious. Would come here again.

As soon as you walk in you are hit with the smell of a dirty wet mop. The place smells absolutely terrible! The prices on the menu are not accurate. Ordered a General Tso Chicken with steamed rice and it was the WORST american chinese food I ever had. Panda Express is excellent compared to this place. I will NEVER come back to this place! Not sure how they have 4 stars but it may be to the lack of options in the area.
