7/11/2025 We were at the Funky Monkey in Glen Rose 10 mins before they closed 8 pm, there was a small line but they would not take our orders. These girls need to be taught customer service. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us.... I think we will be going to the Stephenville Funky monkey from now on! Just very disappointed!

We stayed at the Oak Dale River RV Park with our two little granddaughters. Everyday we went to the Funky Monkey 😊Delicious!

i hate to minus a whole star, but the wait is super long, and in the afternoon, the hot sun is baking you while you wait.
everyone's pleasant and the cost is more than reasonable.
so really it's ☆☆☆☆½.

Tried to get my daughter a snow cone at 8:06pm, website says open until 9pm but they were closed. Just wish they would update Google if they close at a different time than posted.

I live in Allen, TX and love this place but now that it's in Glen Rose near Big Rock Park, it's going to be EPIC!
Amazing flavors, Pineapple USD is my favorite and and spot is so cool. Don't forget to play the monkey drop with the plastic monkey on the cup to win a free treat!

Well. Unfortunately we won’t be back. My boys said the snow cones were tasty, but they ring up at $.75 more per snow cone than advertised. When I brought it to the attention of the young lady who rang me up, she said she couldn’t fix it even though she acknowledged that I was being charged the wrong price. She said she would have the manager put the right price on the menu board next to the window, and the menu board behind her. But that she had to ring it up at the higher price because that’s what her computer screen told her.
And there are no bathrooms

This is a great small town snow cone stand. It's at the big rocks in Glen Rose and if you stay at the Oakdale RV park it's right across the street. My fiance got a few funky flavors and they were both very good. I had regular cherry one day and black cherry the next day. Just a cool little spot with nice friendly staff.

The best shaved ice there is. So many flavors to choose from. High quality, great owners, and wonderful staff.

Our go-to for a sweet treat, both for the grown-ups and the kids. Lots of choices. We've never been disappointed.
