Food quality and selection is excellent. The perfect stop for lunch. Portion size is very good - you won't leave hungry. Wait staff is phenomenal and very very friendly. This is a local joint to be enjoyed by all. This is the "Glen Rose Tiger" sandwich! Yum.
My mom took us to Glen Rose, TX for spring break when I was in probably 4th or 5th grade, so like 2009 or so. It has been one of my favorite places in the whole world since and my mom would drive me there, 4 hours away from where we lived, on some of my birthdays just because it was the best. I, now an adult, brought my partner there last year and he also loves The Green Pickle. We are going to make it a yearly tradition that I hope we can continue well into the years
Place was recommended and for a small place it didn’t disappoint. If you’re passing through I’d recommend this spot.

My husband and I had dinner there just before going to The Promise, in Glen Rose. The grilled portobello mushroom burger was an absolute delight. The fried pickles and homemade ranch dressing were delectable. I highly recommend this quaint little restaurant. Service was excellent!

We arrived with a crew of 19 people, not knowing that this was a small establishment. The staff was so sweet and accommodating! They made room for everyone at a variety of tables, got orders taken quickly and drinks out right away. I could not believe how fast they got everyone's food ready. It was hot and delicious! No one ever had an empty glass either. I highly recommend this lovely little restaurant!

Got the sautéed onion and cheddar burger to go and it was so delicious, even 30 min later!! The fries were super fresh and hot. They weren’t too busy, so my to go order was ready in about 15 min. Highly recommend
