Looked like there were two locations next each other, went by the closest and turns out to be a liquor store. The other location was about a block away, we pull up a little before they open, wait a few minutes and go look, they appear to be permanently closed!

Today was my 3/4th visit to this place and I was highly disappointed. It's been a while since I went but today I decided to make the 30 minute drive to get the Junkyard Dog which is their fully loaded potato ! For the life of me Can someone please tell me why the price increased from $25 to $35⁉for a potato ⁉After seeing that price I just stood there for a moment and just couldn't convince myself to spend that on a potato so I left without a purchase..Guess I won't worry about making that run anymore ‼Price gouging at its finest in my opinion ‼

This is my favorite BBQ place. You should try the Junk Yard Dog. I love the staff. I love the food and everything about Bear Creek BBQ. I started going there 7 months after they opened and go there around 4 to 5 times a month.They also have great plate lunches.

So I am on a bbq adventure and decided to visit this black owned establishment, it's second location in Duncanville/Dallas. First off the two men were cool upon arrival and was very helpful. Rating of the food ...Small chopped beef..asked for sauce on the side and my sandwhich was drenched with it and it was flavorless..trash it went! Rib plate and sausage sandwich..straight to the trash..neither was grilled but instead boiled and drenched in bbq sauce. When you visit different bbq places you can tell and you know the difference between grilled meat and boiled meat. I myself will not be back, if you visit maybe you will have a better experience but as for me I will be moving on to another Bbq place to review.

Delicious, I will be back when I'm in Dallas area. I ate so far I didn't even get a pic. Someone grandma/aunt, mama bodied those greens and cabbages. I hurt myself. I will most definitely be back.

I ordered 4 different items and didn't like any of them particularly. The Turkey leg was dry which is hard to do with dark meat Turkey, it was tender just dry asf. The bread on the chopped beef sandwich was soggy, so soggy i didn't want to continue after the first couple bites. The loaded mashed potatoes wasn't bad, just needed a pinch of salt and more bacon & cheese. The casing on the sausage in the sausage sandwich was so chewy I couldn't break it with my teeth and had to pull it and try to break it with my hands. Even when i was able to break it I couldn't chew through the casing and had to dispose of it like gum after every bite. I wanted to like this place, that's why I ordered so much but i was disappointed. I wanted to try the cobbler & broccoli & cheese casserole cuz maybe they would've been tastier but they were out. Will not return & I don't recommend.

Good barbecue and they r known for the junk yard fully loaded potatoes. Believe me it's full of everything. My husband ate half and took the other half to work the next day. I love the pulled pork. Side dishes r the usual. But I thought it was good barbecue.

I been hearing about this place and decided to give it a try...wasted my $23+ on trash for the day!! I ordered a 3 meat baked potato...potato was burnt...asked for chopped beef, ribs and chicken...I received a cold (refrigerator cold) rib chopped into 3 pieces, chopped beef and sausage, no chicken to be found. I got entertainment while I was there tho...a little boy telling a lady she was ghetto for coming to work with a bonnet on! That's exactly what I was thing too, very smart young man. I was very disappointed that this was my experience after hearing such great things from family.

I’m a big bbq fan and when I tell you they’re in my top 10 they’re in there! I had the chop beef baked potato, my husband had the fish basket and we purchased an extra side of Mac & cheese.. when I tell you everything was delicious. It was delicious! Very friendly staff and fast service. I will be returning very soon! My new spot. ?
