Best restaurant in 100 square miles, I’m so impressed with their food and they fry in beef tallow! I can eat the fried food and not feel like crap and instantly bloat afterwords! Would not recommend any another restaurant!

Everything was really good, our server was so nice and very helpful. I got the pasta, it was Mac&cheese with Nashville Hot Chicken and it was SO GOOD! I I had to change anything add more cheese to the Mac & cheese. My mom got the road runner and she loved it! Def would recommend both, especially if you like spicy food, the Mac &cheese is great! 10/10 would recommend! The atmosphere is great too!

Delicious filet mignon, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Also tried the hot pretzels as a starter to the night. Soo much fun, very casual and easy to talk with new people.
Nice place for a driving break to stretch, let the dogs out of the car and get some delicious food! Nice little dog area! The server was very accommodating and friendly!

I’ve never had a bad experience at southside tavern. The food is always phenomenal as well as the customer service. This place truly has the best tasting food around! The only thing I wish is that they were open monday-sunday lol.

10/10 ?, Uncle Grumpy Crushed it today! Amazing Burger, Brotchen is Wunderbar, The Sauce burns just right. Sidewinders Amazing! We are Super Lucky to have a place that makes Burgers of this level here in Goldthwaite. Our Waitress was a Rockstar. Worth every Penny!!

Not many options for gluten free or celiac, but the bar makes great mixed drinks! The staff was super helpful and Saturday night had some nice live music happening. Enjoyed the atmosphere and experience!
