As always Hannah at the bar is amazing. Her coworker Taunia has always been attentive and wonderful as well.. both have outstanding customer service.

We drove over an hour this weekend to eat here and was so disappointed. We ordered the Sweet & Sour Shrimp and it was the most disgusting dish I've ever seen and tasted. I should have sent it back immediately but thought I would try to eat it. The juice was overflowing from the bowl and there was approximately 6 small shrimp in the dish. I did dig the shrimp out of the bowl and ate them and tried eating the other but I just couldn't. The waitress asked if we would like to order something different so we did. The cook came out and was very rude and the only words she said was "WELL YOU ATE THE SHRIMP OUT OF IT". We explained we did try to eat it and that was the only thing edible. She gave us a 10% discount from the dish and charged full price still for the hamburger we ordered to replace the Nasty Sweet & Sour dish. We have been to this restaurant a couple years ago and thought it was good. We have even bragged about it to our friends in the past. We won't again. Sometimes it just takes a little customer service to make the wrong things right again. HORRIBLE

When I order a prime rib sandwich and it comes with one little thin slice, maybe an 1/8 th of inch thick, and meat smelled funny, yes I did complain. (Which I don’t like to do at restaurants.) They brought some lady out, that I guess was a manger, and she defended the poor excuse for a sandwich. Not only was the quality bad, but the quantity was terrible. She did not ask what she could do to make it better, and the waitress said she could not take it off the tab. Even the gentleman on the opposite side of us that we did not know, said the manager was rude. My only regret was not taking a picture of it so others can see that I’m not exaggerating.

On Tuesday night I do not suggest going here. This is the reason why, I went to pelicans for their taco Tuesday night it’s a limited menu which is not the problem but it’s the service. The staff at the bar were not attentive and did not check on us one bit after taking our order or even after we got our food. And after I had finished my drink I had waited to see if I could get a refill and got nothing. I had to go up to the bar and ask for more tea. I am disappointed in the service of pelicans landing. They have good food, but the service and staff is not attentive and seem rude. There was not many people would say there was about 15 people in the restaurant. While waiting for around 10 minutes for a refill on a soft drink and for the check. The bartender that was working tonight was terrible. It was not worth the $36.00 that was spent. Terrible customer service.

They don’t take reservations anymore but I called to special request a table for my parents anniversary. I told my parents they could go anywhere and but they were persistent with going to pelicans landing. This establishment did not disappoint. They made sure of a wonderful evening for those two. Wonderful service, food, and atmosphere. It’s relaxed and not fancy at all but still managed to make you feel like you are at a 5 star steakhouse. My mother and I love going on Saturdays because of the prime rib which is always cooked to perfection and tastes wonderful!

It's a wonderful place to eat if you're out on lake texoma, they let us bring our dogs in and eat on the back deck.

Went in to get the lunch special which they were out of at 1240pm so we got the catfish basket and shrimp basket. The catfish tasted like rubber and our French fries and onions rings were BURNT to a crisp !! Our waitresses vanished after taking our order but refilled our tea once where she sarcastically said .. must be a hole in your glasses!! Seriously, I refilled our tea for the rest of the pathetic lunch we had!! Talked to a lady who said she was the manager who didn’t seem to care about these issues who reports she just came on shift. Upcharged for onion rings and sweet potato fries which we were told it was an option which were so burnt they black. Sad that Pelicans quality and customer service had declined so drastically. We now refer to it as SHITICANS LANDING!! We chose this place for its lunch special - where we could have went to Marshall’s Country Cooking, Catfish Haven and got better service and food !! Thanks SHITICANS for ruining our lunch and not even listening to our concerns !! I do believe I could have gotten frozen Gordon’s fish and shrimp from Tom Thumb and it would be better!!

Pleasant surprise!!!!! All was excellent. Will go there again!!

I thought I’d give this place another try . Felt sorry for the waitress pretty inexperienced but the food was horrible how do you screw up a burger ..when I pull a long hair out of it and the meat didn’t even taste like meat
