Waitress was great but this places takes so stinking long to get your food. 20 minutes to get our appetizer and another 40 minutes to get our entrees. I have a sneaking suspicion that the “catfish” is actually cod too. If you sit outside, you’ll be bombarded by yellow jackets and bees and if you sit inside, you’ll smell like bacon when you leave. Just be prepared to wait if you come here.

I am sure this is a good place to eat sometimes but not the morning we were there. I am going to guess it was a scheduling or management problem.. We had attended a wedding Saturday night and the Hotel was full of wedding attendees. We went for breakfast on Sunday morning, there are were 4 at our table. When we entered the restaurant we noticed about 7 tables of people eating. We decided to eat outside and went to the patio where we saw that about 8 tables full. There were about 4 empty tables and we sat at one. The table had syrup or something sticky on it so we switched tables. One of the two waitresses came by and took our drink order. About 15 minutes passed and some drinks came out. Four coffees. We ordered 2 coffees one coke and one tea. About ten minutes passed and our party got their coke and Tea. The table next to us said they had been waiting an hour for their breakfast. Our waitress returned to take our order and we waited about an hour for our food. We went and found our own silverware because our meal was served without any. We asked the server for some and she stated she would be bac. After 5 minutes one in our party went and found some silverware. We were in no hurry but the party next to us had a plane to catch and were trying to get their check which took a while and hurried out. Our food was Luke cool at best. Cold omelette cold biscuit and gravy. We never got a check so calculated our check and left cash. There was not enough staff there. There were not enough servers or cooks to handle the crowd. Slow service and cold food was our experience we could not blame the waitress, she was doing the best she could. With a full hotel and crowded golf course you’d think a manager would schedule accordingly.

Was not very impressed with this restaurant my $40 steak was like one you get with steak and eggs at waffle House. The sides that came with it were not good at all and the mushrooms tasted like the kind that have been in a can and they had warmed them up. Maybe I should’ve tried the pizza or the chicken fried steak?
