We had an absolutely amazing time at Hemmingway’s! The specialty drinks were incredible — perfectly mixed, creative, and full of flavor. The food was just as impressive. A special shout-out to Krista, our bartender, who went above and beyond to make the day exceptional. Her cocktails were spot-on, and her service was friendly, professional, and fun.

Would not recommend for family or 2 family's trying to eat together. Hostess is a mess, bad day or bad person not sure. Asked to be seated together, she split us up when their were available bigger tables. (Confirmed with bartender that the section with bigger tables was indeed open). Cant move tables together either. If you have kids, this place hates them. Dogs are OK though barking and all (was not a service animal). Waiter was friendly once he arrived and he confirmed the hostess bad attitude and apologized. Cannot confirm food or atmosphere because we bounced.

There are about 30 signs saying they dont like kids.

Go to Boondocks instead. Better atmosphere and friendly faces.

Our waitress Shana is new but KILLED it. She serves with a smile and made us feel like family. Olivia was behind the bar and made one of the best spicy bloody Marys.. I have three! Wonderful experience and the place to be ! We WILL be back

So I was questioning the restaurants out here. But this place is the shit. The building is beautiful and the service was excellent. I ordered the ribeye was juicy and tender. So if your in PK and look for something up to date this place won't let you down. Going to the pie house tomorrow..they got really good ice cream .

Absolutely loved this place. Beautiful lake view, beautiful atmosphere, amazing service and delicious food!! We ordered the appetizer platter. YUM. And I ordered the Cajun pasta w/ Salmon. It was so good I couldn't stop eating it until my plate was practically licked clean. Chris was our server and he was awesome! 10/10 would recommend this place! Can't wait to go back again!

The food is always been good and it has been very generous portions. We love to sit out on the patio so we can see the water. The live music is always a nice addition as well.

This is the place! The service at the outside bar is some of the best I have ever had. I went on a Saturday evening and stayed all night. The live music was great. The view was awesome, right on the lake. But the service is what made me come back a second night. I came back on Sunday. And even though I was one 1 of maybe 8 people there, (completely unlike Saturday which was packed!) I still got the same fantastic service. Really made me feel welcome. Very much that Texas hospitality.
