Cozy lil spot, I pulled off onto shoulder in a semi..went inside and had the lunch buffet to go. Salad and dessert are included in price. It was a Taco Thursday. Homemade guacamole. Owner was friendly as well as the other patrons. It's small enough that you have a conversation with everyone. I loved the food and will come back.

Today July 28th 2023, the online guide indicated the business was open.After over an hour drive, we arrived to find a sign on the door stating they were closed until September 1st because they are on vacation.What's the lesson? Don't say you are open, when you aren't.

This was a wonderful surprise and the best kept secret of Grapeland. One of my favorite things on the buffet was the fresh cut sweet potatoes. The service was excellent and they have a way of making you feel at home:) Thank you for the great meal!!
