We went for restaurant week just to check Bacchus out for ourselves, and we had a very pleasant experience. The ambience was very nice. Quiet. Lovely view of the patio and train station. Classy but not stuffy. We had the phyllo crips, empanadas, and bacon-wrapped stuffed dates, and all were very tasty and well-presented. They weren't large portions, but they were very nice additions to the meal. We also had the Tagliatelle al Funchi and the Fussili Al Ferretto - two distinctly different flavors, but the wine pairings for each dish were very appropriate and well-designed. Our server was excellent and attentive and non-abstrusive. She let us know that the main menu will be upgraded soon. I've read some of the negative reviews, but we had a very pleasant evening with very good food.

This was nothing but a disappointment. We had two couples there for restaurant week. Two of us wanted to order off the restaurant week menu, and the other two didn't. They wouldn't let two of us order because of timing. We said we didn't care when it came out. Still, they wouldn't budge. So, we all ended up ordering off the regular menu. We ordered dates, and they were tiny. However, they tasted pretty good...nothing special. I ordered scallops, and I typically love scallops. These scallops were tough, cold and had very little flavor. We told our waitress, and she said, “ok.” My husband ordered arctic char, and char is an appropriate term for what was served. It was dry and overcooked. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Service was below par...I ordered a manhattan and she misunderstood and brought me a shot of bourbon. When I mentioned it was supposed to be a manhattan she did apologize; she said “well you wanted it up”. The replacement came back without a cherry...in other words, not a proper manhattan for $19. We were a party of 6 and the pork chops on the restaurant week menu were undercooked...by the way everyone had to order off that menu....didn't make sense. We usually love taking the train and sitting at the bar but i think we'll stay in Fort Worth next time.

A little pricey, but environment and food were great. Service (Jack) was excellent. Always enjoy Bacchus.

The food and environment were amazing! We will definitely be going back! The pasta was all hand made!

This is a beautiful restaurant, but it lacks human warmth and charm. It had the chance to showcase itself during Restaurant Week but failed miserably with offering a fine dining experience. It is in need of a great chef and a diverse menu to distinguish itself from other hotel restaurants. The three course selections did not relate to any themes. The white bean soup was a small bowl of floating pieces of tasteless chicken and a few beans. The empanadas were nothing more than small finger items, and the pork chop was riddled with fat. The Restaurant Week menu offered no salad or vegetables. Our server seemed very inexperienced and could not provide alternatives other than what's on the designated menu. Some in our party preferred the regular menu, but we were instructed that menu choices had to be unanimous. This bad experience confirmed to us that the better restaurants were within walking distance up Main Street in Grapevine.

Invited some business partners from out of town for brunch. For starters the gentleman left the carafe on our table for my guest to pour her own coffee. Her coffee was cold... he noticed he left the carafe on our table and then apologized and acknowledged he failed to pour her coffee. We weren't provided salt or pepper with our food. My other parter requested a side of brisket with her meal and it arrived luke warm. Very few coffee options and no fresh pressed juice available. I was quite embarrassed and apologized for selecting this restaurant for our meeting.

Baris the waiter gave great suggestions. He pivoted in the right direction when my New York strip was not cooked to order. I ordered medium rare but it came out a step above medium rare which is what I think the chef wanted it served. Baris made up for this shortfall by offering me a free dessert which turned out to be an outstanding crème broulette!!

Excellence from start to finish. Kory greeted me and my party by name and made sure we were comfortable where we were seated, offered cocktail recommendations which turned out to be fantastic. Chef Joe personally stopped by our table before we placed an ordered and elected to make an off menu shrimp appetizer and a specialty chocolate cigar dessert to celebrate our special occasion. Left so happy and satisfied!

Blessed to experience many dining options over our years of travel. Bacchus Kitchen + Bar now rank at the TOP of our Favorites! We were 2 couples and each ordered a different Main dish. All were Outstanding! Jack accommodated our table. Both he and the ambience were perfect.

The service was truly exceptional! Baris was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely attentive to every detail. His warm demeanor and expert recommendations made our dining experience unforgettable. Without a doubt, he’s the best server we've ever had. We felt well taken care of from start to finish. We’ll definitely be coming back — thanks to Baris!
