The food here is so fresh and plentiful. The Crab Cakes were delicious!
Had been awhile since we enjoyed some good sea food. Definitely reccomend trying this place is you haven't. I had the crab platter and it didn't disappoint. My wife and our friends had various dishes. Everyone was very happy and it was nice to enjoy good food some glasses of wine and good conversation.
So give it a shot if you have a hankering for sea food you won't be dissapointed.
Very very very good place. Good service and Atmosphere. Definitely will be returning. Side note forgot the to go boxes and they kept them on the side for us.
The boiled shrimp was yummy! Our waitress was super sweet and took great care of us. The atmosphere was great !
Was turned away from big fish long before they closed and when asked to speak to the manager “brock” he stated he closed the kitchen early due to needing to cut staff because labor was high. Absolutely terrible..
I haven't had the best experience with highly rated restaurants in Grapevine, despite how much I enjoy this city. It's a really great place but the food has not been the best. I had my doubts with Big Fish Seafood Grill & Bar but man did they prove me wrong.
They are inexpensive compared to other seafood places, their food is good, and they made our food in no time. If you are in Grapevine and you're looking for good seafood at a very reasonable price, check out Big Fish Seafood Grill & Bar off of Main Street, you won't regret it.
If you are wondering what food we ordered, here you go:
1. Coconut Shrimp (Salad)
2. Crawfish Flautas - I know, interesting right? They were big.
3. Shrimp & Crawfish Etouffee
4. Fish and Chips
🔥 Crawfish Lovers, Listen Up! 🔥
If you’re in the DFW area and haven’t been to Big Fish in Grapevine, Texas, you’re seriously missing out. This place is throwing down some of the best crawfish you can find — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
🐊 Forget the rubbery, muddy mess you get elsewhere — at Big Fish, the crawfish tails pop right out like butter and melt in your mouth with that perfect Cajun spice. It’s a seafood lover’s dream come true.
📍 Located right off Historic Main Street, the atmosphere is just as good as the food. Whether you’re out on a weekend stroll or bringing the crew for a feast, it’s the spot to be.
🚗 Plenty of parking up front and even more out back, so no excuses — roll through and get your fix.
🥵 Come hungry. Leave happy. Maybe even a little messy.
Big Fish — Grapevine’s hidden gem with the BIGGEST flavor.

Redfish w/o blackening was totally bland. Had to ask for lots of lemons to get some taste. Bread pudding was sub-par. One block of humid bread. Hush puppies were good.

Even in the middle of lunch on a Sunday, service was incredibly quick, both in being tabled and having the food delivered.
I had their 'fish and chips'. Even before I started eating it I already loved it, their use of aromatics was phenomenal, the fish just smelled like freshly poured Shiner Bock. The flavour wasn't overwhelming, it was very obviously a beer battered fish, and not with cheap watered beer, but wasn't too wet, even my last bites of the fish saw the crust dry snf crispy. And the beer taste never overwhelmed the fish itself which was absolutely perfectly cooked as well.
The waffle cut fries were amazing as well. It was undoubtedly a 'basket' of fries, a few burned bits, a few 'ugly' ones, but not enough to detract that they were cooked and seasoned fantastically, the only thing I could complain about was there being enough of them that the last ones started to cool and loose that 'fresh fry' flavor before I could finish them.
The hush puppies however somehow stole the show. Crispy, airy, and a pleasant kick of seasoning that lasted long after the puppies themselves.
Somehow, this touristy rather plain restaurant had some of the best fish and chips I've had outside of the New England coast, and their hush puppies were the best I've ever had period.

Potato's cold. Ask for melted butter not served with food. Fish and chips ok. Not the greatest
