Do yourself a favor and try Big Fish in Grapevine! What a perfect, hidden, little jewel in a quintessential, “little-house-on-the-prairie” kinda town… tucked away in the middle of the DFW concrete/steel/strip-mall crap I’m so sick of…

I grew up in Louisiana… this place is now officially the only place in all of DFW I ever consider. It checks ALL my boxes… I just had to leave a review for my fellow “stranded” Louisiana friends… Everything...

Seafood isn't my favorite food so I'll say the food is OK.

The atmosphere takes a little getting used to in two particular areas.
1) the booths feel small compared to most restaurant booths, I feel as though I'm handing out into the aisle. There are four four- top tables in the upper section and they are VERY tightly placed next to each other. They are sandwiched between the railing and the aisle so fitting into the seats along the railing...

Located on Historic Main St. in Grapevine, Big Fish offers a great variety of seafood in a fun, seaworthy atmosphere that almost makes you feel oceanside. We had the fried shrimp and fish baskets with waffle fries — everything was cooked perfectly, served hot, and with a smile.
To finish, we shared the bread pudding, and wow — what a treat! A generous portion topped with Whiskey Cream Sauce that paired beautifully and gave it a smooth, rich finish.
