We came to this location (normally frequent the Oaklawn location) on a Sunday afternoon with our kids for a quick, delicious salad and Mac and cheese (so good). The women making our salads were just plain lazy. We wanted beef in our salads, and I received about 5 scraps of what was remaining. When my husband requested beef, they simply told him they no longer had any - but this was after his salad was already made. We went to the prepared foods counter to inquire, and a woman brought over a couple pieces of meat, sliced them up and gave them to us in a separate container. When we arrived home to eat our salads, we both thought something was a little off on the taste… well, fast forward 24 hours, and I have literally been vomiting, having diarrhea and the like for the past 8 hours. I still have undigested salad in my system as we speak.I would not wish this on anyone. This location is in need of a change in staff and management - and probably location as well; it is of no comparison to the other stores off Oaklawn, Lovers and in Plano. Probably heading to the ER soon…

Unfortunately, this Eatzis needs to make some changes. Their staff doesn’t seem to know their own menus. We ordered a classic spicy Italian sandwich and the lady behind the deli was unsure of what was going on. She then asked for help, and was getting guidance from 2 others behind the deli which they didn’t seem to know what was going on either. We decided not to get a sandwich. We love Eatzis in Plano and Preston Hollow as we go quite often. Don’t visit this one if you’ve been to either of those, you’ll be highly disappointed with service and the food.

Love this place. The key lime pie is one of a kind.

I used to frequent the Eatzi’s in Dallas and was always blown away by the quality of their food. It was better than eating in most restaurants. However, it’s been a minute. Decided to treat my husband and I to some delectable goodies yesterday at the Grapevine Eatzi’s. Very underwhelming!! The tiramisu tasted like cheap canned whip cream with some stale sponge cake, sorely lacking the creaminess and richness of fresh tiramisu and minus the rich espresso flavor it should have. Then we tried the cranberry orange pound cake. Again, it was far from being anything special. For a place that used to pride itself on gourmet taste, it tasted more like gas station grab ‘n go food, mass produced without attention to flavor or detail! To top off the experience, the person ringing the register never acknowledged me as a customer because she was busy talking in a foreign language to a co-worker behind her! This place may be fine for people who like to purchase prepared food in place of cooking, but it is no longer a place to go to grab top quality food for that gourmet taste at home!!

We are big Eatzi fans. We enjoy both the sandwich and salad bars. I also enjoy their pasta bar with various sauces and toppings. In Friday nights they serve delicious pizzas. Great bread as well. It's hard to go wrong at Eatzi's!

I loved this place. It has so much to offer and you'll spend a good amount of time in there if you like that sort of thing. Good sandwiches and some good takeout food. It can be a bit pricy but some things are worth the price. Thanks, will be back again!

I took my mom in here excited to show her this delicious Italian market and was sorely disappointed. We went in around 5:30pm, and there were only 4 pre-made salads, all of which had suspicious looking meats. When we went to the custom salad bar, every single type of lettuce was wilted. VISIBLY wilted from the 6 feet away we were standing. Then an employee tried to overcharge my mom for a meat sauce on her pasta when she didn’t get any meat. When I asked what was in a prepared pasta salad, the employee had to get a supervisor to come answer my question. Horrible service and crazy prices for the poor quality offered.

The Sunday night crew is full of goblins. The young petite lady in the deli has horrible service. I greeted her, and got no return and told her thank you- she didn’t say a word. She basically tossed me my sandwich like Dak Prescott. This used to be a first option if I did not pack my lunch for work. And I usually tell co-workers to come here. But idk .. I’ll try again, because I like this place and usually, I get good service. But I would hate to scratch this place as an option for decent food. I only write reviews on bad experiences, unless the food is amazing. It’s been awhile since I wrote a review, but I honestly debated leaving that sandwich that was freshly made and keeping my money in my pocket.

Cool place. More variety than most sandwich shops, especially with the bread. But very limited drink options. With no pre-selected sandwich options, it can be a bit overwhelming for the first time experience.
