Here is my email. And my explanation as to why I just had an awful experience. I just tried to eat at the establishment here in Grapevine. I had your manager on duty pull me to the side and tell me that it has been a long time since I've been there but I am banned. I have never been inside that restaurant before in my life and I looked at her I said I assure you I've never been here but I'm more than happy to leave. If this is gonna be a problem I don't know who you think I am, but I have never in my life been here. she proceeds to roll her eyes at me and say well "My bartender just confirmed that that's you" and then asked me for my name to which I gave her my name and I then repeated to her. I have never been here before so I don't know what your bartender is confirming. That led to her saying well apparently I had said nasty things to a general manager that works there that I have never met before and that they would serve me this time but they might take legal or further actions once the manager or general manager got there as if they were going to charge me with a crime that I didn't commit they didn't even know my name they couldn't give me the name of the person they were looking for and I literally just came in because it looks like a cool place from the highway ... I even offered as much to walk her out to my car because if she knew it the person's car that they think that I look like looks like they can possibly tell from my license plate I don't know I don't appreciate the way that I was treated. I am a 25 almost 26-year-old woman that owns my own company. I am autistic and, I was so upset that I just finished my drink and left immediately. I just wanted to sit down and do my schoolwork but I left with nothing but a bad taste in my mouth and not only the bartender, but your manager that was wearing the blue shirt being discriminatory, and honestly very disrespectful to somebody with an invisible illness they may not know that, but they definitely made an assumption of who I was and I paid the price for that.I will be in contact with some of my friends about my next actions to take, because I am absolutely appalled at the way that I was treated and I do not believe that anyone else should have to go through that. Looking forward to your response...

Absolutely LOVE Flipps!!! They must have changed the recipe for the Texas Sized Cheese Stick they literally have 0 flavor, I took one bite, and didn’t eat anymore…NOT worth the $10.50 everything else was DELICIOUS, waitress was friendly and efficient!!

First time here. Food was hot and delicious. I had the phillysteak sandwich with onion rings. The catfish was good too. I loved the atmosphere. This restaurant has out door dining and a smoking section sectioned off by glass doors which was busy as their was a football game playing. The other side was non smoking and pretty quiet.

This place was the perfect finish to a great night out with friends. Excellent burgers cooked to perfection and smelled amazing, and generous side salad which caught the attention of tablemates. Sportsman decor. Smoking and non-smoking sections. A short distance around the corner from the gun range.Vegetarian options: Generous side salad
I used to live in Irving and would visit flips weekly. They used to have great food, service and atmosphere but that seems to have changed recently. I was in town with my family making a day trip and made the mistake at dining at Flips. When we entered the parking lot I thought it was odd that it was mostly empty while the surrounding restaurants were packed. I should have read the red flag there but went on in anyways, my mistake. Had to wait a while to be seated, didn’t really think much of it. Being walked to our table it seemed pretty dead. The food was okay, not as good as it once was but the real issue was the terrible service we received. My wife who doesn’t drink often decided to order a draft beer with her meal. Usually takes her a while to finish it since she isn’t a regular drinker. After we received our water and tea we never saw our server Cheyanne J again and my wife never received her drink. I myself got up to go get a refill on our tea and in passing on my way to the kitchen ran into Cheyanne J our server. I mentioned that my wife never received the beer she ordered with her meal and just asked that it not be on the ticket. She immediately became aggressive and rude and attempted to push us into allowing her to bring us the beer. We’d already started eating and said we didn’t want it anymore, she made rude remarks and annoyed facial expressions. The whole meal was ruined with the unnecessary tension between us and the rude server, could not enjoy our meal, wasn’t worth it at all. I wish I could say this was probably a one off but judging by the parking lot and the surrounding restaurants I would take a guess this has become the norm.

Let's start with all the positives. Ordered the Carnivore burger and blu-queso burgers. They had so much flavor. Very tasty. Our server was very responsive and understanding. He made sure he kept our drinks full and continued to check on us, even though we had moved. This is not a negative as much as it caught us off guard. Smoking is allowed in the bar area. There are ash trays sitting right on the table. So we blame no one, but ourselves. That said, we were all good until someone started smoking, so we picked up and told our server we were moving. He completely understood. But this place really has tasty food and recommend it.

Food was great. Chicken tenders were more than one person could eat. Fries were a little greasy but good. Noisy. Seat yourself meant we had to put two tables together ourselves.

Go to daytime chill patio spot. Great place to catch a game. Great drink specials. They keep it simple and do things right. They even have a simple little brunch menu on the weekends. Great place to hang out with the dogs. Friendly people. Patio has abundance of gas heat and water mist so it’s as comfortable as Texas can get.
