We had a mixer here and food was good. Just got hot very quick with the amount of guests.
The Beauty Bar & Boutique attended extended education at The Glass Catcus. They served a delicious lunch and tasty drinks.
Super upset with this venue. I took my daughter, bonus daughter and her mom to the Lover show on July 5, 2025. While the show itself was amazing and I have zero complaints there. I was very upset that I paid $298.76 for a table for 4 and literaly NO ONE was checked for tickets. My bonus daughters mom just walked right in as she arrived after we did and no one even asked her if she had a ticket. If I had known the event was free (Which according to the site online it was $35 for non hotel guests) I wouldn't have spent that money for a table, I would have just paid for the food. On top of that I was supposed to get $25 food and beverage credit for each person at my table. At the end of the night they brought me a bill for $140. It took two times of talking to management for them to fix it and as of today July 12th, I still have 3 seperate charges pending on my credit card. One for $114.25, one for $91.31 and another for $50. It seems as though they were just card charge happy or something. Regardless- based on what we witnessed it seems as though you dont in fact have to pay for a entry to an event as no one ever checked anyone elses tickets unless you paid for a table.
It is unclear if this place is still open as a nightclub or what's happening. They need to be better about providing information. It's been a long time since I was there, but it seemed like a waste of potential. When it's crowded you couldn't get around or get a drink. They needed to improve layout but after the last remodel I read the tables felt like Luby's than a cool modern bar it should be. The worst thing is that the people stand on the dance floor to watch the band. The dance floor is for dancing! Huge waste. The patio was cool. But, the smokers ruined it. I hope they are redoing it and come up with something better and make a rule that you don't stand on the dance floor. Parking and entrance was very expensive, so you want to make it worth it. It was also quite a walk to your car.
The general manager here sucks. My family and I have been going to the glass cactus every year for fifteen years. This past year the general manager made this fun spot about larger parties. He has shut it down to wandering individuals who want a night of fun. This has made it to where my group of 6 cannot enjoy the lakeside experience next to the Gaylord Texan. I have never met the new GM but I imagine he/she is a total bore. I would hate to have to endure a conversation with this individual.
Great view!
Beautiful views, great music and atmosphere. Bar/ buffet/ live music and beautiful venue with inside and outside areas.
Great place for a company party!!
Nice venue for business events with a large outdoor balcony on the lake.
Great venue! Live band, great food, nice view of the lake.

The show was very good. The employees were nice. You can catch a shuttle from the hotel. I was a little disappointed in seating we were in chairs instead of seats and too close to each other.
We ordered a drinks, and mine was a cup of ice from top to bottom, making it difficult to drink (I kept getting a mouthful of ice).
The circus of the beautiful Christmas spirit, take the opportunity to see it
Anthony Meehan is amazing! He absolutely made our time at Cirque: Spirit of Christmas a 5/5 star experience. He went above and beyond for our family, from our 4 year old to Grandma. Thank you Anthony!
What a cool venue! It's definitely a more intimate setting, but I enjoyed the view from balcony seating. Unfortunately, they do not know how to make a Moscow Mule. It was the most awful drink I've ever been served. Staff was super friendly and helpful, even escorting us to our seats. I'd love to see a concert here at some point. Parking was expensive yet conveniently laid out right in front of the entrance. It said we would have bar service for balcony seating, but it was closed, so that was disappointing.
I attend the Cirque show. Anthony Meehan in Guest Servicw made our visit incredible and totally memorable We are celebrating our anniversary of 60 years. He got us moved to the VIP section. We got meet the cast members and take pictures with the. He was exceptionally professional while very personable. The show was amazing. We will make this a tradition we will go back next year.
