This place has popsicles and shaved ice; I'm sure the popsicles are nice but getting a shaved ice freshly made seems like a pretty obvious decision, particularly given the dry heat of Texas and the fantastic variety of flavors they offer. Their fresh fruit flavors cost a bit more, but on the strength of the white peach I ordered, are well worth it. A few popsicles are dairy-based, but the vegans and people with allergies will have no difficulty here. The main drawback was that there was a line, but I still made my airport train and I was certainly better off for having made the detour.

We are regulars here for the shave ice. Having been to Hawaii many times, we’ve eaten authentic shave ice hundreds of times, and Hip Pop is one of the best mainland options you can find. Smooth, flavorful, enormous. Their natural flavors are great. And don’t miss the hand made popsicles. I recently tried the mango slush with coconut cream, even though I’m not a mango fan. It was amazing!
Service was amazing, they were so kind and helped me figure out which flavor I wanted since I was having a hard time doing that myself . Sour watermelon was DELICIOUS! My husband got the banana flavor and it was really good as well! The vibe of the shop was fun and relaxing! We will definitely be back! I loved their snow cones and appreciated it being the Hawaiian shaved ice because it's 100000% better and easier to eat!

It’s a catchy name HipPop. We tried their popsicles and they were good. We tried their MangoLime and Strawberry, and you can actually feel the taste of fruit and not just the flavor/water. I think it’s a family-owned business and I find them to be so nice and friendly.
