The food was not good compared to any restaurant in the nearby area. The barbecue was low quality IMO. The “Stone Oven Pizza” was some of the worst pizza I’ve had. They might cook it in a stone oven, but the crust is soft and squishy then kept in a warmer. It’s also confusing how they run the business. It’s like 3 restaurants but ran as one. But they didn’t really seem to understand how it worked themselves. They were friendly and service was not horrible. I would not waste your money here unless you’re ok with simply edible food.

I ordered a pizza and they didn’t deliver and didn’t refund the value of the pizza!!! Very very disappointed
I dont ever write reviews, and this is my first time here, but this is one of the best philly cheesesteaks i’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely make a point to drop in next time I’m in the area to see if it holds up.
I got the reheated pizza. Nothing to write home about. The custom pizza looked basic. Not a fan of think pizza but that is just my preference. Don't go out of your way to go here.
New and very clean. Good service. Just wished for a ceramic bowl for my eat in greek salad rather than plastic togo bowl and metal fork instead of plastic for eat in. I will bring my own fork on trips moving forward.
I don't think this place ever plans on opening up.
Hasn’t opened yet, so haven’t tried the pizza. Manager/owner said they’ll open in a few days. But the ambience looks good. Nice and clean. Looking forward to trying out their pizza the next time I come by here.
We had not been to JR's in quite some time. I must say that the food was very good. I had the grilled primed rib and I found it cooked to perfection and the flavor was exceptional. Our daughter had the peppered tuna and she too thought it was very good. I see a return trip on the near furture.
Light over our dinner table constantly flickered. It wasn't giving a warm & pleasing atmosphere. Food & service was exceptional, as usual. Felt the wedge salad was small for the price paid.
We have visited J.R.'s several times in the past but this was the first time we left unhappy. We visited the restaurant 02/24/2018 at 5:30. To start, I ordered a wedge salad asking for ranch instead of blue cheese dressing. I was given blue cheese but did not make a big deal about it as things happen. I ordered my steak medium which when served was quite rare in the middle. This is how I have always ordered my steak. After sending the steak back twice I ended up with a charred piece of meat. My wife ordered salmon, as she does every visit, and it was terribly undercooked. The center of the salmon had a jelly like texture, not translucent. When we pointed it out to the manager walking by she simply said they can cook it longer. What surprised me was her reaction. We were an inconvenience to her, an annoyance, and it was written all over her face. Even her apology was forced and insincere. We stayed polite and respectful the entire time which is why I was surprised by her lack of sincerity. Aside from that, our desserts were excellent and our waiter was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we are not sure we will return to J.R.'s in the future as this was an expensive meal and left highly disappointed.

Excellent service and suggestions. The waiter suggested the Wagyu filet. The steak, creamed potatoes, and asparagus were delicious. The tenderest steak I've ever had. We sat right next to the fireplace and the noise level was very quiet. We really enjoyed that. Thanks JR for a wonderful 22nd Anniversary dinner.
I thot it would be a buffet but was a menu only. We got the steak omelet described as ribeye steak chunks. Meat was thin Arby type meat. Son got a French Dip and the meat seemed to be the same. Ambiance was ok and the bloody marys were good. Food not good. Would not recommend.
Everything we had at JR's was delicious, from the prime rib tacos, to the bone in cowboy ribeye Oscar style to the cheesecake we shared for dessert. The cheesecake was the best I've had in my life, actually! Our server was Lindsay and she was lovely and really made the evening a delight. We will be back
So glad JR's has re-written their script and changed back into the neighborhood steakhouse versus yet another bar and grill. The steakhouse menu had remained, but the ambiance had definitely change, along with the addition of the casual fare. Okay - keep the burgers and fries to appeal to those that don't get enough of them elsewhere. But, keep the ambiance as an great date night venue. LOVE the booths and the service was excellent. We did not have the date night special this time but love it in general! Can't go wrong here!
One of the best steaks I have ever eaten accompanied by mashed potatoes that I will dream about!! The salad was large enough to split and asparagus was perfectly cooked. There was complimentary valet parking and white linen table cloths creating an elegant setting without being stuffy. Don't forget to ask for the bread and butter. Business Casual attire is acceptable. No ties needed.
