Our burgers were nice size but the meat had no flavor. The egg I got on my burger was very under cooked with the clear raw egg pouring over the sides. The fries were awesome but in a kids meal portion.

I visited today with my 4-year-old and 8-year-old. Like any young child can, my 4-year-old was having a difficult moment and being a bit noisy. Instead of showing any empathy or professional patience, the staff told us to leave. It was a humiliating and ridiculous way to treat a paying customer. If you have children, avoid this place; they clearly do not value or welcome families.

Our favorite breakfast! (Very close if you’re staying at Gaylord) It’s such a cute, clean spot with amazing food and customer service.

Wasn’t impressed. We paid $30 with tip for one coffee, one chocolate milk and one breakfast plate. Ok, fine. The breakfast plate was majorly disappointing: one smallish pancake, one chicken apple sausage that had been split in half and cooked to death, two anemic scrambled eggs, and a side of fruit that consisted of one cut up strawberry, two grapes, two banana slices, one orange slice, and three unwashed blueberries. This was $16. The server was nice enough but the food was slow to the table. Atmosphere was fine. It’s a skip for me though for sure.

The atmosphere is wonderful. Clean, quiet, cozy, well decorated. The staff is friendly. The rest is lacking. Coffee served with no way to stir in sweetener or creamer. Scrambled eggs weren't scrambled and barely mixed. Syrup is served ice cold and will ruin the pancakes. I just wasn't impressed. I doubt I'll return.

Lone Star Café - Grapevine

Located on Main Street, Grapevine off Hwy 114.

About, 10-15 years ago it used to be a Braums Ice Cream store.

The food is consistently delicious with good portions. Quality is great too. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Atmosphere is great too. I would definitely recommend it.

My niece works here and the owners are lovely people. I tried one of the best Chai Tea Lattes I've ever had and a good Eggs Benedict too.
