Great local joint we have been to numerous times. Went this evening for a low key dinner and to support a local business. Decent food as usual. Server was either new or something. Had to look up happy hour time and had communication issues. Not necessarily the happy face you want on the front lines serving customers.
Laid back vibe in a strip mall with good draft selection and license plates on the walls. Small roadhouse/icehouse/divey feel with friendly service. The Moscow mule was as big as my wife's head. Grilled cheese with brisket and jalapeno was really good. Brisket was sourced from a local BBQ spot. Wife's grilled cheese with egg and bacon was really good too. If I lived nearby I'd be a threat to be there weekly! Check it out.
Love this place, but during my last visit... my burger was not cooked at all so I couldn't eat any of it. By the time the one waitress working the entire bar got back around to me, everyone else had finished eating and I had filled up on fries (that had very light seasoning on them. Not the normal). However, the drinks were made well as usual.Also, all my friends that go with me and myself wish they had backs on their chairs. Sitting there for a couple of hours at picnic...
