We have been going to Mac's on Main for years. The food and service are always excellent. It remains one of our favorite restaurants. And the location is great, downtown Grapevine next to Harvest Hall.
The Fried Chicken was excellent. Not too dry and cooked well. The Steak Fries were huge, equivalent to half of a baked potato with a crispy skin and tasted very good. The salad was very well done and the vinaigrette dressing was excellent.
Some of my dining companions had brunch and said the omelets were good and the breakfast potatoes were good but spicier than expected so order water. The Key Lime Pie is excellent and highly recommended.

Last night my wife and I met 3 other couples for dinner. We are retired work friends who meet once or twice a year. Mac's has been our go to place for several years now and never fails us. The food is always great with a lot of variety on the menu. Last night our waitress, Sidney, provided the perfect balance between attentiveness, patience, and personality. We weren't in a hurry and she hung in keeping the water glasses full and also did a masterful job for us...
