Collin the team lead at the “winner’s choice” was amazing and very helpful. Jade at the laser tag was AMAZING. i would come back solely to see them again. They should be in charge of so many more areas because he made our night the best

Our last visit here (about a year ago) was honestly unsettling, and I've been hanging onto to this review for so long, I debated even posting it, but the owner and upper management should know.
A couple in the lane next to us began fighting loudly, and the man was verbally berating the woman he was with. He kept storming off in anger, then coming back and continuing to escalate. It was uncomfortable to witness, and I felt terrible for their child, who looked frightened and confused. (They were crying)
I mentioned the situation to a few staff members (who weren't far away and could hear them as well as they were rolling eyes at each other), but they only nodded when I stepped over to say something and didn't seem to take any action. The man's behavior was intimidating, and at one point, he was threatening her physically. No one intervened or appeared to check on her safety, which made the whole situation feel even more disturbing.
We ended up leaving our lane early because it kept escalating and we were just trying to celebrate our son's birthday...and we moved to the arcade area to finish the night, but the experience stuck with me. I understand staff can't control how customers act, but it was alarming to see no effort made to de-escalate or assist. I genuinely hope that woman and her child are okay.
As for the rest, the food has always been average, but that's expected for a bowling alley. We typically skip it since it's a bit overpriced and we'd rather not eat after handling shared equipment. The arcade and laser tag areas are fun and well-kept, and those are usually the highlights for us.
We'll probably return at some point (maybe), but if I ever see something like that happen again, I won't hesitate to call the police myself. I've been avoiding the place since, just trying to move past what happened. It was a miserable experience that night, and I sincerely hope management takes safety and response more seriously in the future. I know the man was mad at his date, but we felt unsafe too.
As I said, we were just trying to celebrate our son's birthday and that experience ruined his birthday, which seems shallow to bring up after what I just said, but it was just overall horrible for everyone.

We were stuck in Grapevine after a missed connection flight for the start of our honeymoon and decided to stop into Main Event for bowling. The team was incredibly accommodating and made for a very fun day despite the circumstances! Could not recommend them enough!

Everyone Is Very Nice. The Staff Checked On Us Various Times To Make Sure We Didn’t Need Anything. Favorite Main Event To Go To Never Been Somewhere Where Staff Made Sure You Were Good. Highly Recommend To Come Here With Kids.
Puke in the parking lot, beware. Dinner games steal points. Yes was nasty and tasted a day old. Games are very overpriced.

I walked up to the bar last night, and witnessed the bartender berating and cussing out a customer. There was a language barrier which seemed to frustrate the bartender even further, as if it was mandatory for the customer to only speak English. She snapped at him like a dog, cussed him out, and was extremely rude, xenophobic, and racist. This was outlandish behavior, and I am extremely disappointed that Main Event would continue to hire someone who behaves like that. I will not be returning to this location due to her behavior and poor service from other workers.
