Messina Hof Grapevine Winery

We had our company Christmas party at Messina Hof Winery, and it was absolutely wonderful! Leslie went above and beyond, paying great attention to every detail and accommodating all our requests, making the evening seamless and special. Our vendors also had glowing feedback about their experience with the management, highlighting how professional and organized everything was.

The ambiance, service, and overall experience exceeded our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to the possibility of returning next year. Thank you, Messina Hof Winery, for making our event truly memorable!

I stopped by this evening at 8:15 PM to purchase a few bottles of wine for Christmas dinner, but I left feeling disheartened and upset. I was in line behind a couple who had just made a purchase, but when it was my turn, I was told the store was “closed.” Confused, I simply said, “Oh, okay,” as the employee had just assisted the couple in front of me. To my surprise, he then proceeded to help the person behind me when she asked, “Are you still taking orders?”

As I waited outside for my husband, I noticed a group of people leaving the store with a box of wine, which only added to my confusion since the business does close at 8pm. The entire experience was upsetting and disheartening. I ended up taking my business elsewhere, where I was treated with kindness, but I’m still unsettled by what happened.

Fun place to attend if you are wanting to do some wine sampling or share a bottle with friends. The staff was awesome and very helpful.

Cara was especially fantastic. She answered all our questions cheerfully and was very knowledgeable. Cara explained joining the club and helped sign my daughter up. She also was great in helping us purchase bottles to take home.

My boyfriend and I did the wine tasting all over grapevine and Messina Hof was one of our absolute favorites! Cara went above and beyond and catered to us more than asked. Amazing service is an understatement and we will be back to see her specifically!

Joel, Spreesa, Elizabeth plus rest of the team were so welcoming and made sure our day was very special! We had the Premium wine tasting which was wonderful -hard to choose our favorite :)

Hosted an event at Messina Hof, and I couldn’t recommend a location more. It was a perfect gathering spot the night before the official conference started. From the wine, food, and service, our Events Manager and staff did incredible. A special shoutout to Leslie, Lisa, and Sandra! Can’t wait to come back - it’s a treasure of a spot!

Went here on the wine tour (which was awesome by the way), and ended up having a negative experience with 2 customers unrelated to this business. The general manager responded and handled it so well, you can tell they truly care about their customers! Our server during our wine tasting I believe was named Kara- she was so cool and so sweet! Will definitely return and highly recommend!

We paid for a wine tasting here. Wine tastings are an opinion. We weren't fans of the wine and were discussing this between us. 3 of us left for our next tasting and my daughter in law was picking up her jacket when she was accosted by "the owners wife". How dare you make bad comments about this place, etc, etc. We have been to a lot of wine tastings and that was a first. I would highly recommend avoiding this place like the plague. Waiting till 3 of us are gone and attacking my daughter in law is unacceptable. I'm leaving 1 star because this app wouldn't let me post with no stars. There was no upside to this visit...

I am updating my review from last night. My wife received a call from the general manager, Amber, this morning. After seeing my review last night, they looked at the video and saw the incident I wrote about and have no clue who the woman was. They checked her credit card info with the same result. Just a drunken nutbag who had nothing better to do.
She was very apologetic and offered my son and daughter in law a free flight next time they come in. A very nice apology and a very nice gesture from someone that genuinely cares about their customers. Thanks for the call Amber. You've restored my faith in human nature.

The wines are always great. The winery always busy, but we had the best server today. Hannah was so helpful and knowledgeable. We appreciated the service, wine, and atmosphere. Thank you!

We held a surprise engagement party for our son and his finance at the Messina Hof Winery in Grapevine. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Leslie helped us plan all the details and was quick to respond to
all of our questions. Her staff of Lisa and Taylor helped run the event seamlessly. Their professionalism and friendliness made a special event that much more memorable. (And the stairwell made for a picture perfect surprise spot!)

We were visiting Grapevine from South Carolina and this was our first time at Messina Hof Winery yesterday, October 5th, 2024. We had a warm welcome by Tina N, who was very friendly. Tina seemed extremely knowledgeable about the huge selection of wines here, which made it easy to decide on a wine that was to our taste. We chose the Chenin Blanc, plus, bought a bottle to enjoy later. In short, the ambience was great and even though the place was packed, the service was fast and friendly and the wine was awesome. We would highly recommend you stop by and experience their wine.

The event coordinator, Leslie, was absolutely fantastic! She was extremely helpful, responsive, and she took care of almost everything, which is extremely helpful for someone busy like myself.
Great place and great atmosphere!

Didn’t try the whites, just the sparkling almond which was so so good, but the reds I tried almost all and wow I was impressed!!!! You need to go I know I will go back many times more
